Which Extraction Shooter is more your vibe?
I think this is a valid concern with Marathon. Less so with ARC Raiders. These games are all the same with a different coat of paint. It all boils down to who is the most "sweat" player, playing like a maniac every match, shit is not fun.
Arc is just third person, the gameplay loop is the very same. I really liked their initial concept of fighting against the robots in a PVE world, but oh well...I think this is a valid concern with Marathon. Less so with ARC Raiders.
Count the number of gunshots in both trailers. You'll be surprised.Arc is just third person, the gameplay loop is the very same.
In your wallet babyWhere's the neither option?
I don't know if that makes a real difference to the overall gameplay loop.Count the number of gunshots in both trailers. You'll be surprised.
That's like saying Halo Combat Evolved is just like Splinter Cell - no difference. I think the tactics and pace you use to defeat opponents actually matter a lot.I don't know if that makes a real difference to the overall gameplay loop.
Yeah. PvP doesn't depend on graphic fidelity to succeed. This looks fine.Is it acceptable to have that level of graphical fidelity in 2025 for Marathon?
It´s not the graphics for me, it´s the character design. It´s the same style as concord. Not as bad, but definitely there is a vibe they have in common. Is it acceptable to have that level of graphical fidelity in 2025 for Marathon?
Those are completely different games dude, you're out of your mind...That's like saying Halo Combat Evolved is just like Splinter Cell - no difference. I think the tactics and pace you use to defeat opponents actually matter a lot.
Not really. Those are completely different games dude, you're out of your mind...
Dude they're not even the same genre of game, stop lol. I know you like extraction games or even Marathon, that's fine. But you're being excessively defensive of it, it's not that deep, the gameplay loop of both games is the very same, one just has more enemy density than the other and a different camera. Not really.
They're both linear games where you defeat AI enemies for 10 - 15 hours until you beat it. Unlimited respawns, cutscenes after every level. Commander in your ear telling you what your mission is.
I'm trying to get you to think about how Marathon and ARC Raiders might be different.
Are you talking Halo and Splinter Cell or Marathon and ARC?the gameplay loop of both games is the very same, one just has more enemy density than the other and a different camera.
Halo and Splinter cell are completely different genres, Arc and Marathon are the same with minor differences, the biggest being the art style, which is why I said "different coat of paint" initially. Are you talking Halo and Splinter Cell or Marathon and ARC?
