There's only one truly awful film in this franchise (Predator 2018) in my opinion. I will be surprised and disappointed if this is as bad as that lol I think its more likely to be on par with Predators.

My expectations for the franchise couldn't be much lower. Prey was very 'meh' for me. This is one I will watch in pieces on the iPad while doing my cardio. If it's better than 'meh', great.

Yeah I am with you on this. Predator 2 was really good, but Danny Glover was the wrong casting choice.
Predator 2018 was awful though, no fun and destroying lore and mythos left and right.

Predator is my favourite film of all time. I saw the image of the Predator at work, and just got home and watched the trailer. I said to myself, "Maybe it's just a bad screenshot/still," but OH MY WORD. That. Is. Fucking. Abysmal. Just not the CGI or whatever, but it looks like a generic action sci-fi movie dreamed up by a couple of stoned AI bots. This just isn't Predator.
