It only works out if you subtract it from 34 and might make sense since 34 just ended and we're at the start of 33.It doesn't, she's already 16. In 9 years she'll be 25. And in 9 years they'll be at expedition 24.
Everyone that is 33 just died so in a year everyone that will be 32 will die...in 9 years everyone who will be 24 so she'd already be dead. Anyways, it doesn't really matter lolIt only works out if you subtract it from 34 and might make sense since 34 just ended and we're at the start of 33.
It's honestly really impressive what this studio has accomplished with this game. They're putting a lot of studios to shame. So wait 30 people total working on this game and ND can't make a new game in a decade?
this just shows how truly BLOATED studios and untalented a LARGE percentage of game developers are in the industry
I was thinking about it a lot earlier too, and just gave up. Might make more sense once we get further into the game I hope.Everyone that is 33 just died so in a year everyone that will be 32 will die...in 9 years everyone who will be 24 so she'd already be dead. I only did the Lyall one, the draw distance i am not touching for the moment, it may over tax the performance.
I was also thinking about what if you were 32 at the festival while the paintress paints 33, everyone who were 33 disappeared but then you turn 33 the day after? Everyone that is older is dead so that doesn't make sense either. I'm reading too much into thisI was thinking about it a lot earlier too, and just gave up. Exactly! I'd imagine they'd just disappear on the spotI was also thinking about what if you were 32 at the festival while the paintress paints 33, everyone who were 33 disappeared but then you turn 33 the day after? The moment paintress paints a number you have one year left to live. Everybody that disappeared at the beginning was 34, not 33. People aged 33 will die the moment she paints 32.Exactly! I'd imagine they'd just disappear on the spot![]()
No, Sophie was 33. Maelle mentionned she was 33 while joking she looked younger than Gustave even though she was older than himThe moment paintress paints a number you have one year left to live. Everybody that disappeared at the beginning was 34, not 33. People aged 33 will die the moment she paints 32.
I'm not sure it works like that because Sophie was 33. How old is Gustave? He has a year to live. The moment paintress paints a number you have one year left to live. Everybody that disappeared at the beginning was 34, not 33. People aged 33 will die the moment she paints 32.
I think when she paints a number, everyone who's that age or older dies.I'm not sure it works like that because Sophie was 33. How old is Gustave? He has a year to live.
The French will tell you if you're ugly. That's at least my experience. And bless 'em for it.![]()
Thank you, Sandfall, for making attractive characters.
That opening made me so emotional that I had to take a break. The characters are so good in this game.Loving it so far, only a few hours in but this is so far my GOTY by a mile
From that list - none.May I ask if the game is very based, none of that woke agenda twisted gender ideology binary and pronouns stuffs?
Yeah, it's very rough in the prologue dialogues. After that there are mostly cutscenes where it's ok.Lip sync seem a bit off for anyone else or is this just me? Not a lot but it's breaking immersion on some of these dramatic scenes…
While it's really great, COE33 is the winner for me.South of the Midnight kills it IMO.
BIoshock Infinite + Plague Tale.Oh yeah the visual design very much reminds me of Bioshock Infinite but with MUCH better character models.
Thats good to hear. Starting this game shortly. While it's really great, COE33 is the winner for me.
The day she paints a number everyone above that age dies. So even if you turned 33 a day later you will still get a year at most.Am I missing something with the plot here?
Don't think this is a spoiler as it's the basic premise of the game.
What if you turn 33 after the day the paintress paints the number? It seems to be only people of that age when she pops up to change the number.
The game seems to indicate that no one is older than 33. Do you just turn to petals and such on your 33rd birthday without the nice fanfare and such if you were unlucky enough to have a birthday in the period after she updates the countdown?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see it's already been discussed.
Is it ever indicated it's age >= number = petals? The day she paints a number everyone above that age dies. So even if you turned 33 a day later you will still get a year at most.
There are 3 keys in similar visually blurry spots (they are small so can be difficult to see) in the same area as the cage. Shoot all three to unlock your sweets.Anyone know how to unlock the paint cages? Are you supposed to shoot the symbols flying around it or are the 3 keys scattered nearby?
Edit: never mind, I figured it out
This goes in the opposite direction as well - when MeToo started first there were some replies from French women saying: "TF you are saying a man cannot compliment me for my appearance? You crazy.".The French will tell you if you're ugly. That's at least my experience. And bless 'em for it.
Dont think so. They doing a really good job with characters. Sophie was already likeable 5 minutes in

Shadowheart game is a bonus for sure.+ Maelle. Just... Maelle.

Thank you, Sandfall, for making attractive characters.
I get second hand embarrassment from some of the discord around the female characters.

I don't know about this too much. This game has a horrible uncanny valley effect. Characters have attractive faces, but they have weirdly tiny bodies (especially arms) in comparison to head size. It's really weird to look at.![]()

You just described attractive French women. I don't even kid, this is the body shape here, together with small breasts.I

That feeling when you enter an optional area, face off against the boss and group counter every single one of it's attacksI did encounter a mime that's way too tough to take on now though, I steamrolled every other mime (5 of them) up until this point.
My copy arrived just in time! I'll put it to install and then firing it up once I'm done with work for the day.Damn, reading through the OT, there are a lot of positive impressions!
I'm still waiting for my physical copy to arrive. Hopefully, it will be here tomorrow before I finish work.![]()
