Again, after seeing the Steamdeck version, NS2 version looks quite good.
I already did 5 years ago, so noNevermind how it looks. The real question, is...

wars crud 5 years ago ahaha phantom liberties switch 2 2025 ultimates additionI already did 5 years ago, so no
Not sure if it does but it definitely looks next gen compared to Steam Deck version lolTo be honest, it almost looks like the next-gen version. Really clean.
It has framerate issues. To be honest, it almost looks like the next-gen version. Really clean.
Exactly and everyone keep forgetting this is the switch 2's docked mode vs the steam decks only handheld mode.![]()
Nice cherry-picking.

Nice comparison video with Steam Deck and framerate tests.
Switch 2 unable to hold a steady 40fps. 30fps seems mostly stable. Bummer.
ahahaha op update
You think this looks rough wait until you see the handheld mode.
Why wait ? There are plenty of videos in handheld mode
That's what I am talking abouttyou're only beginning to get actual handheld footage within the last few hours.
2 in opEvery single one of these "comparison" threads has been docked. Aside from some very short YouTube videos, you're only beginning to get actual handheld footage within the last few hours.
Which is odd if that's the case, if you care about graphics so much why would you play on a PS5? Just get a pc bitch. It's like watching two bums fighting over a sandwich out the window of my limousine.I just think it's the cries of sad, desperate, salty Sony ponies.
The handheld mode looks really close to the docked experience already (maybe due the smaller screen).Every single one of these "comparison" threads has been docked. Aside from some very short YouTube videos, you're only beginning to get actual handheld footage within the last few hours.

Not sure what you are trying todo here. It's again miles better docked and handheld compared to steamdeck.
It's a done deal. It was the only argument from nintendo haters to use the "but it's not comparing handheld mode" which was already some next level bs argument to start with.
But now we do have plenty of handheld footages as well, it's a done deal. The switch 1 which released 5y before the steamdeck is now the steamdeck (3y before) comparing to switch 2.
The steamdeck is still good for older games, but the price without even having a dock and hdmi cable included, requirement to buy additional controllers is at this point way to overpriced.
look good cant wait to tomorowWho said anything about the Steam Deck?
I played it myself. It looks like shit. Sub standard def upscaled to 1080p. A very obvious ~10' radius around you where lighting detail and shadows just pop in. EXTREMELY noticable when driving. Super inconsistent frame rate.

Are you blind? For a hardware releasing 3 years later this looks hilariously bad.looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then steamdeck annnd ps4 pro ahahahha annnd dlsss nort series s fsr crud bookmarked
The shadow draw distance is really poor by 2025 standards.Who said anything about the Steam Deck?

We have already seen that this game is really really close to the ps5 version. Proof of that is that a lot of people doesn't even could tell the difference directly.Who said anything about the Steam Deck?

Anyway, i don't believe you have a switch 2 anyway. The framerate is really stable as already been tested at 30fps. While the 40fps has more dips, with vrr play it is a none issue.
But yeah, maybe you are one of those pc fanboyism guys that only wants to have the best of the best. It's still a portable device.
What actually matters is that this is a portable device where the IQ is higher as on series s. The visual differences were way higher between ps2 & gc versus switch 2 and ps5. It has also mouse support on the go with hdrumble 2.0 with an unique screen that supports 120hz vrr with HDR. A combination that can't be found yet with pc handhelds. I don't see anothing wrong with your gif, it looks really really reallllyy good. Specially for a handheld.
Why was the poster above saying it's close to PS5? Is not the PS5 a 60fps and has options for RT?The amount of complete delusion in your post is amazing.

Can't even recall what I got the Deck at fps wise, tinkered for a small bit, as CDPR does have a Deck setting but many was able to do better online themselves. It was extremely playable. Well above 40fps, but not sure where it landed. After a while you just kinda forget about fps so long as the frame pacing is good.Very very impressive for a release game. I hope that CDPR manages to squeeze in a 60fps option down the line. I would even take Steam Deck levels of visuals for 60fps.
After having set up my switch 2 in docked mode, I'm pretty disappointed that the only way you can get 120Hz is if you set your console at the system level to 1080p or 1440p, meaning you can't use 4K output anymore.
Very disappointing, so to play this in 40fps, I'd have to set up my switch to 1080p as my LG C1 OLED doesn't support 1440p.
I think that the PS5 had this issue to, but they fixed it with the VRR firmware update… Switch 2 and PS5 Slim both uses the same DP to HDMI converter chip, somebody correct my if i am wrong. I recall the console didn't have 1440p mode when launchedWasn't an issue with PS5
MS have been very good regarding VRR, I didn't even know I had a cheap HDMI cable because on Windows I could enable HDR (now if they can fix HDR...) and/or Freesync alongside 4K-60+fps. They do something there because I tested some cables when I realized and they all gave me AT LEAST 4K@60fps, they're the exception managing HDMI standards in my experience. The normal thing would be having to deal with it like Sony or Nintendo.I think that the PS5 had this issue to, but they fixed it with the VRR firmware update… Switch 2 and PS5 Slim both uses the same DP to HDMI converter chip, somebody correct my if i am wrong. Skimming through this, and the textures on Series S are terrible (at least here):
To complement, this is el analista on X:
"Switch 2 has better textures, global illumination and higher level of detail than Xbox Series S and PS4 Pro in Cyberpunk 2077. It also offers better general performance than PS4 Pro version."
