37 Minute Direct Feed Cyberpunk 2077 footage from Switch 2

Switch 2 having DLSS is a good thing, especially for its low power. Like i said i use DLSS on PC even when i dont need to.

Bur you cant then start acting like a Switch 2 version of a game is better because of DLSS while ignoring internal resolution, framerate, and every other graphical effect and technique.

I mean Christ if you use Switch 2 in handheld mode, native 480p would look clean on that screen size, but it wouldnt mean the Switch 2 version is better than other versions.
What matters is the final output, it else you should criticize PC handhelds for having to use FSR on ultra performance to run this game at 800p or 900p instead of, you know, be happy that it looks better than internal resolution and running better than if it did running output resolution natively.

What's even worse, I see many people saying PS4 Pro is A resolution whole Switch 2 is B native therefore it's superior, not mentioning how that relied heavily on CB to do the upscaling in basically every game.

So, we need to pretend that the end result doesn't matter…is all about the spec now?
Then when you put bigger consoles side PC will move the goalpost again and say "but games lol amazing you don't need $5000 to move Minecraft" (spoiler alert, they only look and run good enough if you haven't seen or played any better)

i don't care if the game is running 120 x 120 p. if the final input with dlss or whatever technology looks good, then thats all i care about and right now the Switch 2 version looks pretty compared to other console ports outside of the ps5 and series x.

Might be a while, the new chip leverages some pretty advanced Nvidia and ARM encryption. The only reason Switch emulation happened so easily is because of a flaw in the Tegra X1. But this is Nintendo, fucking up on security in hardware is not new to them.
The porpoise of the encryption block is to prevent emulation or piracy?

As much i don't like upscaler tech, things have changed… Now is about the final result, and looks like the Nvidia + Nintendo alliance is going to pay dividends. Can't wait to see what Nintendo devs can achieve with this hardware, especially Monolith soft and Luigis Mansion 3 devs.

I am going to guess that most of the ports will look better than the PS4 version. just because of DLSS. not necessary the Switch 2 is more powerful than PS4 or PS4 pro or xbox series S or whatever, but DLSS is doing its magic and the input is much cleaner image then what is the last gen is offering up to Xbox series S.

I know it hurts lmao. After all the work you and Gigabowser have been putting in, it gets undone by 2 simple images. It doesn't even run it better than the ROG ally or any other pc handheld with the AMD z1 extreme which can run at 60fps as opposed to 30fps with drops to 20fps. $699 CAD for 20 fps in 2025, such amazing performance and image quality smh. Much wow....
don't worry man, you'll enjoy it when your preorder arrives. that's all anxiety to get your hands on it.

+ The fastest storage to avoid the streaming assets issue that the old gen had.

The Nintendo Cucks are hilarous. "It' better than last generation" Whoopty doo. Welcome to 5 years ago. I have been playing at much higher fidelity for years now. Good luck with your overpriced Toy that wants to ass-poke you in price on every chance they get.

Just curious which gaming handheld you bought 5 years ago that plays Cyberpunk with better fidelity and what price it was. I may have screwed up big and you got me this time

I agree, but it's like fighting for last place when you're putting the XSS against the Switch 2
This is the thickness comparison of both consoles, The Switch 2 including a screen, battery and controller 🤷‍♂️. What you expected?

Oh they have a patent?, its all good then. Maybe Nintendo's lawyers are better coders than Nvidia.
The patent which is a combination with dlss is doing something dlss can't. Scaling the texture resolution to keep a stable framerate on heavy scenes (realtime).

The ps4 pro version is even worse in every aspect. It even almost never goes higher as 1080p. In terms.of resolution. Less.npc's, worse popins/lods, more blurry and worse refelctions.

Also lets not forget, (copied from another forum)

Also, there is a developer on famiboards which informs that:
- The are trying to push the OS the use only 2gb ram/1 core.
- The system is evolved the whole time (in terms of performance)
- Switch 2 has nothing todo with those switch 1 pro rumors
- The systems isn't even at full potential yet.
- Puts the system in terms of performance as series s minus. (or series s lite device), above ps4 pro

This is what also happens with i think any system. Even the series s who free up ram if i'm not mistaken.

DF made a 4 Teraflop showdown video between XBS S and PS4 Pro a couple of years ago, as expected the XBS S wiped the floor with the PS4 Pro. The Cyberpunk 2077 analysis starts at 1:40. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=digital+foundry+xbs+s+versus+ps4+pro

People forget Switch 2 has more advantage than the XBX/P4pro due many factors. That why people say is close to Series S. That doesnt mean that Switch 2 is Series S level power docked.
NSW2 to PS5/XSX is way closer than NSW to PS4/XBO was. when PS6 and NEXT BOX come that would be a different situation.
