Okay, so I checked my drops, seems like you have to register for it, but I don't see the game in the drop campaign list. So I guess they're not doing it anymore. Unless I'm missing something.

Yeah you need to wait until the 7th they aren't running just now. Think you just have to watch half hour of a BF6 stream then. You'll see each streamer will have a "Drops enabled" tag on.

Well that went well..... Enabled it and PC would no longer boot or display a video signal. Had to remove CMOS battery to get back up and running.
Pain in the ass to remove all my cables and open PC up.

you need to wait until the 7th when streams are active again to get a twitch drop if you missed it the first time

You can just preload the game rn (I think) regardless of code or not. It'll boot into the menus.

Just search BF 6 on steam.

Win11 its enabled by default I think. I don't fuck around in the bios much at all on mine.

Same. Freaks me out. I've been keeping my bios up to date though. One reason was to patch the intel cpu issue. But also my keyboard sometimes stops my PC from booting and I have to unplug it and wait to plug it back in. I'm hoping each update fixes that. But it seems to keep coming back. I should just get a new keyboard tbh but I have no idea what to get and people are so weird about keyboards. ha

You can once youve linked accounts you'll never need to bother with it again. No EA play required like in the past.

Your Windows partition is likely MBR, which doesn't support Secure Boot/UEFI. You'll need to convert it to GPT. This is the most straightforward guide on that whole process

The revive animations in BFV was dependent on whether the player your were reviving was in your squad and if you were a medic.
- reviving a squad member, but not a medic? Long "pat" animation
- reviving anyone as a medic? Short syringe animation

You can turn it off in the settings, I can confirm I saw it earlier when I booted it up.

yeah you don't need the EA App but you still need it for login. I'm sure they use it for analytics and what not but they also use it for cross-progression/saves.

Also people with 8gb vram should be okay with this game. According to the menu, it only eats up 6.7gb vram at max settings at 1440p

I think the code you redeem on the ea site determines when you can log in though. The client doesnt really matter.

Me too, I watched a couple of good tutorials from ghost gaming on heli tips for bf2042 which are good.

Plus bf6 has 'simplified' vehicle controls so will be interesting to see how they play out too

Spawn beacon to assault is a really good change. It was useless on snipers for the squad. Now assault class works like a squad leader
