Honestly this company has the ability create such ridiculously fun games (Just see Bully), if they truly targeted the younger generation, they could have made GTA Online their own little mini-Roblox by now.
I have been following them since I was a kid so I know the company''s culture. They have this extreme desire to be artistic, pretentious that I can bet on my life that they were against expanding a live service online at first.
I get it, nobody here likes that but financially speaking, GTA 6 is the biggest anticipated game right now primarily because of online, not just because of the single player campaign people here like.
Anyways, point is they're slow in doing all the things Men_in_Boxes likes as they like control over their products (why the modding community doesn't like them) but once they do and it blows up earning them a massive amount of money, and then there's no going back.
If they had the sense, they could have made GTA Online a free-to-play mobile version right now (much like PUBG), and potentially have a billion players right now.
