yeah i am the same boat. every now and then play couple of matches till the SBMM kicks in in a stupid way and somehow I ended up with either cheaters or some that people that used to play in the world cup or something.

anyway its been more than an hour and I didn't get any code by email or through stream so I don't think ill be joining the beta in couple of days

You can check your progress by clicking on your profile in the top right corner. My code arrived right on time.

You may also need to link your Activision account to Twitch.

I am . And I did receive 3 things ( emblem, calling card and something else I forgot ). But none of them are a code for the beta. And nothing in the email or the Junk mail either and my account is linked to call of duty. So no idea. I left my home and let my PC run but honestly it's fine if I don't get it. Not the end of the world lol

The movement in BO6/Warzone is top notch, you can do some amazing things in the game. If you want slow boots on the ground barely able to hold your rifle while you trip through the mud towards your enemy there are plenty of other shooters that facilitate that.

lol, I'm a Quake player by heart. I love me some fast paced shooters (see Titanfall for instance). However with the recent fast paced CoDs it's simply a case of poor netcode combined with awful hitreg, tickrate *and* shitty animations that make it such a frustrating experience.

You know how when you get killed in BO6 you see people just glide across the ground from side to side as if there's no inertia involved? Shit is ass, brother.

BO3 was a much smoother experience and that game let you pretty much fly for ffs.

This seems like another undercooked affair.

Mine just showed up as a drop, did yours work?
 
Mine showed up but it was weird. It appeared in the notification bubble, but it didn't appear in my drops. It showed my code in the bubble, but if I clicked on it, it took me to my COD login and then the page asking for my code. So I just had to enter what I saw out of the notification bubble. Couldn't copy and paste it, lol.

Yeah it is weird that it just shows up like that, should be in the drops tab
 
I didn't like advanced warfare...this wall running shit is for unreal tournament and titanfall. BF6 for me.

For anyone looking for beta code, do the good ole amazon trick ive used for years. Preorder, they send you code immediately, then cancel order.

This plus walk into a Gamestop and drop a $5 bill for a preorder and they print a code.

Can either cancel it or just let the $5 ride to something else, like your next preorder
 
I didn't play Blops 3 or 4 but this looks more like that...at least aesthetically....

I will play this once I re-subscribe to gamepass...after I'm bored with BF6....which could be a while...

I'll be on both but BF6 looks like the better bet this year for sure. COD's always good for a quick blast.

Just catching up now, looks like COD alright, but not as lazy as expected for an off year.


Edit: Got a code from the Amazon work around so that's the weekend sorted. Should make the wait for BF6 a bit more bearable.

After watching it to me it seems they have speed the game up. Seems more like the old cracked mode faster movement and speed. I like that aspect and I can't wait till we get the fat Albert collab and see him call jumping and flatting me with a belly flop.

Ok yeah i can agree with some of that, when the connection sucks or there is lag it's bad, but more often than not i am flying around the map dipping back behind corners up through windows to escape etc... not many other current games offer this sort of speed and agility in the movement. Somehow i never really suffered from characters sliding around the map etc so i can't comment on that. What i DID suffer from was hacks and cronus BS and that's why i am not currently playing it. I am a 45 year old man and legit shit on most of the players unless they are cheating and i just couldn't stand that nonsense anymore. So many of my matches on Rebirth came down to last 2-3 teams left only to have people blatantly cheating and laughing about it in proximity chat.

Titan Fall was AMAZING, love that series... BO3 was ok i seem to recall plenty of glitches and stuttering or lagging etc while playing it? I dont remember it being very smooth and some of the hit registration questionable at the time.. maybe it was my internet at the time though? My internet MUCH better now than when BO3 was out.

I agree, in fact i wish they would completely do away with the tracker perk and the high alert or whatever its called where it glows when someone is aiming at you. That shit does not belong in an open map BR mode. This video doesn't surprise me and i hope it's removed from the final game. Not that i'm buying it... maybe. Probably not. I hope not. Ugh.


*Well i wasnt near a PC today so i missed out on the COD Twitch stuff... oh well.

Yes,,.. this is exactly what I need. more of me getting killed out of no where in hardcore team deathmatch and not knowing if I was killed by this or a cheater for the maximum power of rage cussing and breaking the controller.

FU activision. nothing else to be added. fkn tards doesn't even cut it.

The map count was huge as well. One can only assume AI has had a hand in it. Hopefully they play better than 6's launch offerings.

Yeah their map output has ramped up suspiciously in recent months, don't get me wrong, it's great.

It's a little difficult to not notice that this is a beefed up PS4 game, though. More hyped for next year when they finally step up a console generation.
