I love Same Song by Digital Underground and from what I've seen Nothing But Trouble has really underrated set designs made for it. I've been meaning to watch this but haven't yet.

Planes, trains and automobiles is one of my favourite movies of all time. Not a big Steve Martin fan either, but Candy was great. Such a good movie.

He was so good on SCTV too as part of that amazing cast too. Most people from Toronto would agree, real treasure. but sadly many have never seen his earlier work before he hit it big.

He has such an impressive resume too.

Planes Trains and Automobiles is still my go to Thanksgiving movie and really showcased some range for Candy. Dude definitely could've done dramatic roles if need be.

Even his bit part in JFK is pretty memorable and he straight up looked like Dean Andrews

i think it really says a lot about the man. Its 2025...31 years since his death and so many still have such a strong feeling about him. It's not like he was in a hundred different high-end, big-name movies...but what he was in touched so many..he genuinely seemed like a nice guy....hell, I was young and I still remember finding out that he passed..i was sad. Honestly, probably one of the few 'celebrity deaths' that made me sad.

Just my opinion. I grew up watching him. It was okay. Seems he was a great guy in real life though. I've never seen a comedy masterpiece from him or stand up. Just kind of plays himself like I said. You can feel however you want.

The scene with the semi trucks in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles was comedy gold.

That was probably the best pairing of two comedians. Right up there with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.
