Emiru assaulted at TwitchCon

She's a popular streamer, gamer, and cosplayer. Seems the perp was allowed to just walk away.

The parasocial relationships millions of people have with online streaming personalities draws in so many weirdos. A Korean streamer girl was just murdered a few days ago by an obsessed fan who donated $70k to her because he wanted something in return for it.

Twitch issued a statement:

This is after they assured the attendees that they were safe to come to the event.

Apparently she was obligated to do the meet and greet.

Force female streamers into high risk scenarios, assure them it's safe, fail completely at security. Great going, Twitch.

Dickhead. It's someone doing her job, you wouldn't do that to a cashier, bus driver or a window cleaner. Leave the acts alone.
I don't want to excuse that perverted guy, but bus drivers or window cleaners don't constantly stick their cleavage in front of a camera. She makes her money with exactly those kinds of guys, and unfortunately, that comes with the risk that someone might get touchy or that she ends up with a stalker.

Twitch does a lot of things, and also fails to do a lot of things, that bring harm to vulnerable streamers/people. Yet they experience no serious repercussions. I find it maddening.

Well done to the security who pushed the guy away pretty quickly. I wonder if it's even worth the pay off for some of these streamers, I know I'd be living in a state of hyper awareness/paranoia.

Here's an interesting clip, given what just happened. So that guy gets fired for allowing the situation to occur, but apparently if you stop a situation from happening you also get fired. So what is the point of security then? How can they fire the guy who does his job right and still claim they're keeping people safe?

But Cinna decided to cancel her show in order to avoid the meet and greet part.
From what I understand you cant cancel one without the other going too, if you want to do the show then you have to do the meet and greet.

Valkyrae cancelled everything probably a good idea after the shock collar stuff.
Cinna cancelled everything even if shes like the least problematic streamer.
Emiru should have cancelled everything....its okay to miss a year, i doubt it would have affected her bottom line enough to really cause her strife.

Everyone involved in this is just fucking sad, from the streamers who do what exactly and contribute what exactly to the fuckers that spend all day watching some cunt talk shite or play videogames AND then spend all that money just to goto some neckbeard convention of sad fucks in the hopes of saying hello to the person who views you as a walking cesspit filled with extractable dollars.. everyone of them a sad cunt

This is basically what all the agencies in Japan do with all the idols over there as well. Fucking gruesome contracts, and they either do what they're told or they get thrown into the gutter.

The so called "assault" was some rando(likely subscriber/follower/donator, aka simp) trying to hug her, still thats what ur avg simp does, remember my fellow leftists whiteknights/simps- women find u the more disgusting the more u simp on them, hell they even have actual terms for men who donate/give them money- paypigs/tricks, and they will never ever let u hit anyways which is understandable- they find u disgusting after all coz of ur simping =D

All in all security guy did his job so no1 got hurt, altho not gonna lie, it was bit slow, good thing the simp didnt think of doing something trully awful/more than just a hug otherwise security wouldnt be fast enough to react/prevent it.

This is absolutely insane. Asmongold was right once again. Absolutely appalling. Emiru should sue Twitch if possible for having seriously lacking security. She should have had bodyguards, as in plural, due to recent events.

'assault' seems a bit over used here. Not that I'm defending the creep but the word infers something way worse than what we saw here.
Forced kissing can be sexual assault.

So if a woman walks down the street showing cleavage it's her fault if she gets sexually assaulted? Are you from a MENA country?

Yeah, that's a 95% a knife unless it's a comb.

I honestly think guards should be standing next to her at all times and not in the background. If the video of him having a knife is accurate then this could have ended up even as murder.
