Holy fuck that T-pose bug on PlayStation and Xbox is annoying. Seems like embark are rolling back some stuff to fix it

They have a BP and shop but its not super intrusive. The pass actually has some nice cosmetics, if your into that sort of thing. Easily ignored if not.

I swear i tried to be chill in the stress test, announcing my arrival, lowering my weapon and i was getting fucked by everyone.

So the stress test being open attracted all the deathmatch cunts from cod and bf and now that you have to pay to play the game only people interested in the genre and cooperation remained??

It is the only explanation i have.

The community not belng a bunch of campers and deathmatch merchants could be a reason to try the game again.

Solo appears to be fairly friendly at the moment. My rule of thumb is if they don't respond to a friendy gesture or a few words then they are toast not worth the risk. Although I've only had to execute a couple of folk today, 90% friendly encounters,

Teams not so much.

Dunno how long the utopia will last though. I didn't think we had it in us lol

I had one late solo extract where I didn't see anybody when I hit the button, but five other randoms came running from every direction when the doors opened. Lots of laughs.
 
I played a bit of PUBG back then and had a lot of fun, felt like a very tense game. This serms to provide a similar experience if not even tenser due to the higher stakes (losing stuff and all that). I also like that there seems to be long-term progression here right? I always need a excuse to come back to mp games and that seems like a nice one.

But there's one thing I really, really disliked in PUBG and I need to know if that's in this game as well: can you suddenly get sniped by some fucker that's sitting at the other end of the map? I hated that. :goog_relieved:
 
I don't know what's the fuck just happened.

I'm standing there. No enemies insight, and all of sudden I hear a beep and look behind me and a giant spider thing flung itself at me from a tree line and knocked me off the building I was on instantly downing me.

I'm experiencing the exact opposite. Teams usually avoid each other, and solo is pure chaos.

Seems doubtful from what I've played. At least the opening map terrain is very dynamic with tons of cover and elevation changes that would make this almost impossible.

If you meet someone unannounced they tend to fire first, I normally do. I hide somewhere and give them a shout if they don't respond then its best to avoid or make the first move.

Too bad that a lot of people seems to play without a mic so it is harder to communicate.

What are you even doing without a mic in a game like this?

Yeah, i've had responses via emotes as well though, good enough.

Mic's pretty essential like you say, adds a lot as well. One guy gave me a collar for my chicken and then escorted me out,. Maybe I've just got one of those faces.

Just extracted another solo run and I got to the train and there was a group of like 5 solo players banded together lol. I run in and they are like "well you can extract too".
 
When the doors of the escape elevator open it's like the inverse of that gif where you turn the light on and all the roaches run away.

You see motherfuckers coming out from the most absurd hidespots...

In the stress test i managed to sneak in while i was down and about to die a couple of times...only once they spared me or they didn't had enough time to kill me 🥲

Absolutely loving this and hoping it will have a long life but I ain't gonna lie, those store item packed are just overpriced.
Reduce the pack prices and I'll buy more Embark.
 
Just finished another raid and right before extracting there was another player just meowing into his mic constantly. Me and a random teamed up and killed his ass before the train departed.
