Nice. I started running the Venator last night since I have the blueprint for that and not the Anvil yet.

Now that I think about it I don't think I've used either beyond level two. I was doing a night raid last night with the Il Torro and pushed atrio inside the Buried City hospital. After what seems like a dozen grenades tossed from them I round the corner and fired five shots. All three were downed with those five.

Fun fact. Occasionally when you run through a closed door on THE FINALS and your character busts it open you can hear a rubber chicken sounding noise haha. Has been like that for a long time.
 
Guys I have a mad backlog, with Ghost of Yotei, Clair Obscur and The Outer Worlds 2 among other big games to finish. I can't ignore the chatter about this game anymore though. Shall I bite now or later? Is it worth having it jump to the front of the queue?
I'm not even a big MP guy like that but the graphics and atmosphere seduce me. Is it enjoyable as a solo experience?

looted a hullcracker(sp?) from a random corpse outside the southern station extraction point on the buried city. Looked like the dude got dropped by a leaper on leaving as he was right by the doors and the leaper was crawling around on fire.

I grabbed the loot and called the elevator down... unfortunately for me, a squad of 4 or 5 players came down on me shouting for me to hold the lift (so I did). I chatted with them for a while and then one of them just randomly starts blasting on a rocketeer before the lift comes down.. we were sitting fucking ducks. Everyone died to rockets, including myself, losing said hullcracker. I died inside.

Expedition stage 4 is complete. Stage 5 is a formality at this point. I'm a few bombardier cells from completing the workshop. I haven't played anything this much since Elden Ring or maybe Phantom Liberty. I need to give it a rest for a couple days. What a game.

I played some teams with GymWolf GymWolf , but the game has this VOIP bug which messes up mic channels for some people and makes it impossible to do party chat...
I was trying to troubleshoot while fighting arcs and raiders.., it was a fucking headache... and I perished like a dumbass... I need to put teamplay on hold until Embark fixes this shit.

Wait, didn't I uninstall this game..? Weird... (and if you wonder why I'm adding you back, don't wonder too much...)

Funny thing is I sold all my toasters and mushrooms because I needed coins and didn't think we would need it for anything. Now I'm willing to trade my epic gear for a fucking mushroom lol.

Could be a crossplay or network issue, happens in a lot of different games for me.
 
Kinda funny, I thought I wouldn't have time for Arc because of BF6, but what do you know, I've only played BF6 a few times briefly since the Arc release. The game sucks you in.
 
Solo's is real friendship land, man. Almost everyone is saying "don't shoot" and helping eachother.
That one time I kill a guy he's going "WTF why did you do that???"

Ehh? Because it's a PvP game?

I like some cooperative action now and then, but right now players are not really a threat.
I wonder if that will change over time.

I also think the loot could be way more rare to find. Right now every locker or drawer has at least 2/3 items. The first room I loot I'm already feeling like extracting, because I'm filled up.

I think the game will change for the better if 50% of the lootable things are just empty. Makes players maybe more inclined to kill eachother as well ("I have found shit, I have nothing to lose: engage!")

I found that but approaching level 30 and there seems to be significantly more PVP now. Especially in night raids. I think there is some level based match making going on as there really isn't any incentive to go around murdering folk early on. Around area's which require keys seem to be flash points also.

I don't understand why you couldn't hear me man, I activated the dualsense microphone option and kept talking like a psycho, pretty weird. I need to find out what's going on

Go with fill the squad option turned on or night raid (or both) if you want pvp.

I just did my first match with gonzito and we got fucked by a squad of 3 while we were fending clankers...

Did you check the audio settings? You may have it set on push to talk.

Yes I set it to open microphone and I could see the talking icon coming from my avatar. I have no idea what's going in. If you could add me as friend and we check it out later I would appreciate it

Idk, but it appears you have the same issue as I have (which is btw why I haven't invited more of you guys to game). Is your party chat speaker icon animating when you speak?

If not, there's not much to do right now. According to AI chatbot it's a well-known VOIP bug (both console and PC) in Arc Raiders, and Embark has already acknowledged it and is working on a fix.

Yes I was in the same party as Gymwolf I could seethe chat icon popping up everytime I was speaking but yet, he didn't hear me at all. Pretty weird and it makes sense that its a bug actually because I don't think I am doing anything wrong with my setup

That was my headache as well, everything looked perfect, and I have no other audio issue on my system. Since it's so wide-spread I'm sure Embark has it on high priority.

Hmm, but like with you, the issue appeared while teaming with GymWolf GymWolf . Perhaps we should blame him ;)

The solo in this game is sublime. Love just slinking around the outskirts, popping stuff open like a hobo, cracking off a Ferro shot at someone on the distance just to fuck with them.
 
Took my first forays into The Blue Gate last night, and wooo the difficulty sure does ramp up! ARCs up my ass, swarming everywhere it felt like. I have that one quest to go to 4 different points on The Blue Gate map and it's harrowing trying to skirt around the map to those points. Fun as hell, though!
 
Me and some friends did a night raid last night on Buried city and took out at least five teams. At one point another team behind us showed up and tried to third team us. We took them out too lmao.
 
Okay so rusted gears, laboratory reagents and rusted shut medical kits are nonexistent in this game. I just stopped looking for these and started doing quests again

Speaking of, I just found all of these last night lol. I needed one more rusted gear and rusted shut medical kit. Also finally got more industrial batteries (which I realize now are super easy to find on Dam).
