You know what, let me talk about Arc Raiders a little bit.
Okay, so this was a game that was nothing until we used it as a tool to disparage Marathon. This game is in the same genre so because we hated Marathon we glazed this game, just to make them and their fans feel bad. We built it up.
...apparently this game arc raiders has a sense of community. Something this crowd desperately craves. They are always looking for their next Helldivers 2 so they can use it as part of the identity. /vomit
So in like 1 month, the community will have soured on this game just like Helldivers 2 and every "game" like this before it which is just usually one mode and a "community" in discord hyping themselves up until they decide they hate it.
In like 1-2 months they entire community will turn on the game and hate it.
They will have a laundrylist of bullshit reasons they hate it to make themselves look smart.
However, the real reason they will now hate it is becasue the community went back to fortnite becasue of a simpsons crossover or some shit. It's all so shallows and temporary.
How about this, we give you the stupid goty trophy with the caveat that you have to hand it to e33 on your hands and knees if you hate Arc Raiders in 2 months. I'd win that bet everytime. Now go enjoy your new discord lobby, I mean game, Arc Raiders. I'm sure it's soooo revolutionary, lol.
I mean, we don't fuck with you about the bullshit gaas you play....much....
why do you have to pretend that your game mode is a goty candidate? So if you remove the "fun you are having with friends" is the game still goty? The game isn't your friends bro. Just because you had more fun with your friends than any game this year does not make your lobby music goty.
