Steam Soundtracks - Play the game, play the music

Steam has this nifty feature I have overlooked but recently: the ability to buy, download and play soundtracks in WAV, MP3 and FLAC formats.

The soundtracks include album cover art.

Sometimes additional art is included as well like the postcards in the Frostpunk Circles EP:

Currently the music player is bare bones and doesn't include any bells or whistles but it gets the job done.

I personally like very much the music in Streets of Rage 4 and Doom 2016 is a great work out album.

Do you collect soundtracks digitally or physically? What are some of the soundtracks you would recommend checking out?

Yes, that's a very cool possibility to grab soundtracks in higher quality than MP3.

Bought Moving Out Soundtrack.

Wish this was standard with every game!

As it happens Square Enix has just released the Drakengard soundtrack on Steam today!

It seems Square Enix has quite a vast collection of music on their Square Enix Music account.

Even when i click on a thread not about silksong, it's about fukin silksong.

The herd mentality on this board so fukin annoying to me.

Hotline Miami soundtrack currently in heavy discount. This soundtrack has some serious bangers.

This would make a sweet t-shirt.

Is this a new thing? I've bought deluxe editions on Steam that include the soundtrack and was assuming the player has been around for a while.

It is handy, especially when stuff is on sale, and I'd only buy music outright if it's in FLAC or equivalent lossless formats.

Do you use Android or iOS? I have the Sea of Thieves Steam Soundtrack and I'd like to be able to access it on my phone.
I use Android. I've created a folder on my PC for the desktop of Windows which is accessible via Google Drive on my phone to transfer stuff between the PC and my phone.

I just copy the stuff from the Steam Soundtrack folders to the Google Drive folder.
