ARC Raiders not being nominated for audio direction (or whatever the category is called). I know it just came out, but it's by far the clear winner imo.

KCD2 is my personal GOTY but I'd happily trade it for Dispatch in the best Narrative catagory. Same for any of the other nominees for it except for E33.
And this might be controversial but I'd argue Aaron Paul and Jeffrey Wright deserve to be in the best Performance category a lot more than the likes of Erika Ishii, Ben Star and Troy Baker.

It is always the height of immaturity to call any media product (film/game/book/music) not winning an award a 'snub'. It's always very silly and hysterical way to think about awards.
They didn't get snubbed, they just didn't win. Awards are few and nominees potentially endless, by definition most of any media product will not win.

Game awards are a joke and people should give it up.
No one is playing even half the games out this year. There's way too many games from completely unrelated genres to meaningfully rank 1 game above all others. None of these awards even wait until the year is over. It's a marketing and biased trainwreck that is little more than a popularity contest for the mainstream.
The best you can hope for from an "awards" discussion is finding a game you haven't heard of. Most of the biggest GOTY "awards" are just discussing the most mainstream stuff you already knew about so they are objectively pointless.
The best stuff will be lists like Polygon's or Edge, where you may actually discover something you haven't even heard of. Polygon usually puts out a list of 50 games, unranked with a paragraph for each one. I usually discover at least 1 new game in there minimum.

Award shows obviously aren't gospel, but they have a place, and the TGAs are no more flawed than any other award show.

They barely even have awards. It's voted on by some of the dumbest people ever; game journalists. It's loaded with advertisements which would automatically invalidate any serious awards show. I could keep going.

Shocking that Trails in the Sky 1st didn't get nominatied for at least RPG of the year. Far better game than Awoved of all things.
And best Music? Sorry but Nintendo absolutley cooked with the Mario Kart World jazz fusion albulm. Ghost of Yotei should not be there.

Still think KCD2 deserved a spot there, the musical production is top tier I believe.
