$650 paid $105So I read on here about the price of ram going up but I didn't quite think it would be as dramatic as it turned out to be.
I checked on how much my ram is to buy today compared to when I bought it

How much is your ram today?
I had to look at my NewEgg order because it's fucking RAM lolWho remembers what kind of RAM they have without having to pull up a receipt? Please check in. I'm curious. I couldn't tell you what kind of RAM I have if you offered me a billion dollars.
32GB DDR5 that came in a 7800x3D bundle at MicroCenter.
No one knows. Plenty assume the bubble will burst at some point. Is it ever coming down?
BRUH. This shit cost more than any fucking GPU in the market minus the RTX 5090!!
Did you come to your senses and not give up gaming btw? You were giving away a ridiculously awesome GPU a few months ago.Nine months ago:

Same setup as mine. Everyone was like no you need am5 and ddr5. I ditched my corrupted 3600 for a 5700x and kept my mobo. Got a 32gb ddr4 3600mhz kit for I think about $39. This was last spring.I'm running a 5700x so I'm still on DDR4.
Used DDR4 is cheap but even that is going up. £84 on CEX for 32gb of 3600mhz, was £60 a few weeks ago. I certainly wouldn't be building a DDR5 PC today, I'd still go for AM4.
Paid $213, currently $879, literally more than than a 400% increase.
