PlayStation VR2 |OT| I heard it has a single cable. Is this true?

I'm hoping that's the case too as I share the same sentiment with RE being a VR thing. I waited to play both village and 4 in VR, and what an experience it was. I never had the original PSVR so haven't played 7 and I've heard that is probably the best of all 3, so I'm also hoping that'll get a PSVR2 port. For anyone that hasn't played MadisonVR you should give it a go, just make sure you have your brown pants on.
Did the same for 7 and Village. Playing through Village currently and it was so worth the wait to play it in VR. Initially my thoughts were, RE7 is creepier.... Until I saw "baby" in Village. Jesus Christ. Never felt a shiver down the spine like that from a game before, ever.
RE9 absolutely needs VR. I'm on the fence whether to wait or not on it. Likely will at this point, unfortunately. But want to be optimistic.

House Beneviento is the best section of the game

7 was amazing in VR. I keep hoping Capcom will update it for PSVR2 - hell, they're porting it to Switch 2 - because I would absolutely buy the upgrade and replay it in a heartbeat.

I'm dying to play 7 in VR, but I won't buy an OG VR for it. I just picked up the VR2 during this last sale just for the RE games and Hitman

Yeah, there are plenty of OG PSVR games I wish were upgraded to PSVR2, Resident Evil 7 being among them.
Is it bad that I want PlayStation VR Worlds to be one of them?

I fucking loved Scavenger's Odyssey, Danger Ball, the London Heist, and Ocean Descent! Ocean Descent and the London Heist in particular were the two things I tried at a PSVR Demo event in Best Buy that sold me on PSVR.

Somehow we missed this...

Madison VR is the scariest game I have ever played. I dunno how many times I screamed playing this.

Wish Sony would make a proper Last Guardian VR game. The demo had good sense of scale but NEEDED free movement.
Oh man, Sony could do some awesome VR games with their IPs or create brand new things with the studios they own. But no... All that matters is how much money the shareholders are making. I hate how things are subverted to only making shit tons of cash, specially when a company is publicy traded.

I think I want to make a cockpit that simultaneously supports steering wheel and flightstick. Seems pretty straightforward, except I'd prefer the stick position to be between legs, below the steering wheel. Anyone ever seen something like that?

The mount/bracket thing I got for my wheel (GT Omega) has these arms that can be arranged in various ways. This can be used for adding a stick shift or for a flight stick. There's probably a way to mount the arm (or add other arms) in a way to get the stick in a center/middle position.

I think that's what the guy in the Burn After Reading movie was making. Only requirement is you can't wear pants when using the joystick.

Umami Grove is coming to PS VR2 on January 27, 2026! Jump, climb, duck, and swing through vibrant worlds on a quest to help cute characters gather luscious ingredients and create mouthwatering dishes, hands-on!
Set in a lush, open world, Umami Grove invites players into a comfy cooking adventure that utilizes a powerful locomotion and interaction system. Complete tasks for a quirky cast of NPCs while you forage for ingredients in a visually rich, atmospheric world themed after seasons.
You'll face peril and hone your cooking for the greatest prize of all: Gold! (In the shape of acorns!) Prepare your taste buds for adventure!
FEATURES
  • Travel a gorgeous world, meet adorable creatures, and cook them! (Or for them, usually.)
  • Overcome challenges using your hands and the surrounding environment! Throwing a fish at something probably won't solve a problem, but you won't know until you try!
  • That tree can be climbed and its apples picked. The mushroom on the table can be dynamically cut. Use a robust physics engine and your own hands to get the full cooking experience!
  • Meet a wide cast of characters that you can help in various ways. Cook a meal for them, help them go back to bed, or just please stop accidentally breaking their stuff!
  • Ponder what exactly is the deal with these acorns!

Sup, guys! Anyone here playing Demeo Battlemarked? I'm probably buying the game really soon, but I'm worried about it being way too short. Anyone care to share a opinion about the matter? I fear that if me and my friends buy it soon and more campaigns get too long to be released, we might play what we have already and that's it :(

Just finished RE Village. Absolute amazing experience. Kudos to Capcom for implementing VR. So good, I'm willing to wait on Requiem to see if they bring it there too.

Now it's a toss up between Metro Awakening and Saints & Sinners as my next creepy/shooty game. Any suggestions?

Sony should take this opportunity to take these devs in with open arms and stoke the PSVR2 fires again.

They won't stoke their own fires. Sony has the best 1st party games ever and don't touch them in VR. Can't even get Ace Combat anymore. I would absolutely welcome it as a PSVR2 owner.

I'll tell you this though, I'm playing the hell out of Asgard's Wrath 2 and Batman just in case they shut it down completely. 2 of the best VR games I've ever played.

Incredibly sad news, even if you don't own a Meta Quest (like me). So many jobs affected and the VR as a whole is taking a massive hit, we all lose.

Looks like PSVR2 might be the true and unexpected savior of VR. PSVR2 might be the only be the best VR platform left. To bad Sony is so dumb not increase support on VR but instead focus on woke trash gaas and live service.

Massive shame what Meta has done for the dev studios and Quest customers. I also don't know why they keep pushing the Horizon crap.

SkyLeap is a vertical VR parkour experience focused on speed, flow and freedom of movement. Climb higher, master precise jumps and compete on global leaderboards. Coming soon to PSVR2. Wishlist now and get ready to leap upward.

In my opinion, S&S is a much better game than Metro. Unless you are looking for a linear, scripted game, S&S makes you explore the world quite freely, scavenging, crafting, surviving, and interacting with zombies and the environment in one of the most intuitive, flexible and physics-driven system to date. Interaction, which is the true potential of VR, is particularly developed, in this game. Technically great (good graphics and 90 native frames per second). And it has great atmosphere, too.

Oh my god, yes. Just the other day, I was proselytizing to my friend about The Last Guardian. I had to mention the VR demo a few times. It feels like such a missed opportunity that sony didn't explore the full VR experience.
