Eden Lake, The Ritual, the newest Wrong Turn movie, and Backcountry immediately come to mind. Can't remember if camping was in The Endless but if so I would add that tooTake place while camping.

The wolf creek movies I think have camping tooSeen all those except Backcountry. Looks like exactly what I'm after so I'll give that a go. Thank you.
Have you seen Mayhem? Very fun film with her in itI find Wrong Turn 1 very rewachable. Tried to rewatch a couple of the sequels a few times, but always turn them off.
Just watched Ready or Not again. Easily one of my favourites of the last few years. Samantha Weaving looking lovely helps a lot. I don't think it needed a sequel though. It was a very good one-and-done movie. No need to try and expand on it.

They're pretty brutal, hard to watch for many I'm sure. I'm personally not crazy about them but yeah

Tales From The Void: B+
I know this is a show but I do want to talk about this. There's a total of six episodes. The first episode was just good but somewhat boring and the second episode had an interesting premise but I didn't like the turn it took, found it extremely stupid. But onward from the third episode it gets super good and becomes increasingly creepy. It's hard for me to choose what episode was my favorite but it's a tie between the last four episodes. The whole premise of this show is that they adapt stories from the /nosleep subreddit and turn it into a episode. I'm hoping we get a second season since this show reminded me of Channel Zero but instead of the focus being a season for one Creepypasta, every episode is a different story. Highly recommanded
Looks interesting. Not watched a TV show since Welcome to Derry finished so I may give this a go.
I also reccomand Channel Zero
It's an anthology horror show, there's only four seasons
I think I watched the first season of that. Was that the one with the weird teeth monster thingy?
This is probably my favorite Japanese horror film. I guess having watched it such a long time ago helps. It was so creepy because it really seemed like the world was deserted. The person falling to their death and the guy hiding behind the couch are etched in my brain.![]()
Pulse: B+
This was a surprise, it was a good movie and there were lot of moments that were super creepy. I felt it was a nice touch to add ghosts just being part of the background but not focusing on them. A good example is in one of the scene, it takes place in a library and there's a ghost in the background sitting at a table with her back turned towards the camera. She doesn't move at all so that's what makes it extra eerie. That's just one example. As for the movie itself, the plot/lore was super interesting and while it's not gory, there were some kills that were very unsettling

Skip the American remake at all costs! One of my favorite parts of that movie is when you kind of realize that there are other ghosts in the movie that show up in the background if you pay attention. LIke that one ghost in the library scene. It's the stillness that makes so eerie. The movie is very effective in that aspect. And yeah the world seeming kind of deserted is what added to it

I mean, go ahead just know what to expect.I was planning on watching it but I'm not sure yet. Not surprised that it's not as good as the original. When it comes to horror, I tend to think asian horror tends to be much much scarier than most american horror films. I don't know why but every horror movie that's made by Japan, Korea, etc has really creeped me out
I would love to see a movie like this without the black comedy. Just played completely straight so that you truly feel the dread. Like that scene in Downfall(2004).![]()
Silent Night: B
I would classify this as more of a black comedy than horror but I really liked the twist midway through the movie. There was some really humorous scenes throughout. The movie ended on a good twist too. Surprised to see Lily Rose Depp in this movie

I'm big into Creepypastas and stuff like SCP and Backrooms. I hope this movie ends up being good
