I'm back. must buys were : killswitch + screen protector, donkey Kong, fast fusion, hades, Mario kart, and Metroid 4.

I also picked up Star Wars Outlaws because it was cheap and super impressive and I'm planning on getting Kirby and the Forgotten Land (switch 1 game with switch 2 version) at some point.

Also, trying to get back into Breath of the Wild with amazing performance…

Kirby is legit a great time

As is BotW/TotK with the update. Did a lot of post game stuff after it came out.

Also as a tip.. try the Zelda Notes app. I kept that open the entire time. Makes hunting shrines and Koroks fun and you get little lore bits here and there at certain locations and with TotK you can download and save builds others have made.

Donkey Kong is the only must have, MK is ok but not for the price. Besides that there aren't any S2 games worth buying, not counting s1 games ofc.

I traded in my Switch 1 for a Switch 2 today purely because a price increase seems likely/possible.
I figure there's not much point holding onto the Switch 1 if the 2 is backwards compatible. The price/demand for Switch 1 hardware will only drop. Might as well part with it now.

Genuinely annoyed at the silly prices of the games (DK Bananza £65/$87 and Mario Kart World £75/$100USD) and accessories (Switch 2 Pro Controller is £75 as well).
A local independent store had marked Metroid Prime 4 down from £60 to £40 for some reason. (Poor reviews?)

Hopefully Nintendo are paying attention to the dislike of high prices and this "Keycard" shit. I can wait for sales etc. (But it's Nintendo so I might be waiting a while.)

I finally sold off my Switch 1's during xmas locally.

Did I sell too cheap? $150 for Switch Animal Crossing sku with everything except box. $200 for Switch OLED with everything plus box.
