Ill still believe fable is essentially a tech demo mess.

This long we need to see an actual game, and you can create your own character so get rid of grugnark the destroyer, like even if its a completely faceless, non descript person under a helmet

I thought Jez at one point confirmed you can change the character? I really don't give a shit about ugly characters and all that but this one is extremely offensive and I'd really like to pick my own character. At least let me play as a male if I want.

I seem to remember people speculating that the reveal trailer was supposed to be showing like, some everyday person's self-insert player-created character, and that's why she's an ugly diverse 130 lb woman carrying a sword. It was supposed to be silly. Sadly that seems to be false.

Such a weird choice. I think if they surveyed Fable fans whether they'd prefer to create their own character vs play as a predefined woman, they'd overwhelmingly choose to create their own.

Fable 1 had fixed character if i remember well, you could change haircut and look different based on evil\good, but no character creation.

Yeah you could tailor your look in various way, but no proper character creation like a bethesda game.

I think fable is one of the few games where the ugly protagonist kinda work so althought i laugh at and troll that monstruosity, i'm perfectly ok with playing with her or the ugly man version of her.

Fable was already in a graphic era where you could model a chad face if they wanted to, just look at mgs2, and they still went with this twat anyway

I've seen Fallout 3 remaster being mentioned a lot and the rumor machine has been heavily implying that it's coming. But seeing how successful the shadow drop tactic went for Oblivion I'm not expecting any kind of announcement either on this or future direct shows ...until it's ready to drop.

What did GAF think of Oblivion Remastered?

I played the original when it came out, what, 20 years ago? I enjoyed it, although it felt like a downgrade after Morrowind. I am thinking that I might appreciate it more now that time has passed and Bethesda seems to have lost their magic. I doubt we'll get a great ES game going forward, so maybe I can find one going backward. I didn't like it as much as Morrowind or Skyrim, but it was entertaining enough. I've played Skyrim to death and seem incapable of replaying Morrowind, but I'm thinking maybe Oblivion?

Really isn't about being fuckable. Attractiveness and charisma are important characteristics of characters whether it is games or films.

He is always hinting at stuff. If you're going to leak it, leak it. What annoys me is just the slow erosion of any joy or surprise in this hobby. People learn nothing, and have no surprise. My personal opinion is they need to either fix or change that character model in their promotional materials for the simple reason they have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders. I really don't care if its a man or a woman character. Just make a character that will not deter sales. Maybe they could justify this "artistic vision" a couple years ago. But now, I just do not see how anyone with authority at MS could pretend that weird looking character will not cost them sales. Just my opinion of course.
