Xbox Developer Direct with new looks at Fable and Forza Horizon 6 announced for January 22

for me, this's become 'the age of wait & see' when it comes to just about all 'upcoming' major releases. not assuming or hoping for anything beforehand. &, yes, this's mostly something that sony's done to me...
 
Forza Horizon 6 needs to not feel boring, so I pray that they don't just make "Horizon 3 part 2 but this time in Japan!"

It's Japan for crying out loud, there should be callbacks to Horizon 1 or 2, street culture, wristbands, slips, etc.

FH3 was the moment the personality left and all that was left was the grind itself.
 
I just pray to God that Microsoft has left behind all the woke crap. Indiana Jones has given me hope, but I'm not going to bet the farm on it.

Please give us a surprise early release date for forza horizon 6 ? It's a day one game for me and I don't want to wait till end of the year.

I would call the first slightly unrealistic simply because a mega rich narcissistic person can afford braces, skincare and a hairstylist (unless their character was one who didn't care about appearances) but if Tony Stark looked like the first pic and had a matching character I wouldn't care. Elon musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg aren't exactly "charismatic" and sexy to me and I have no interest in how sexy Stark looks. I'm sure some ladies/gay men do.

Exactly why Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg wouldn't be cast as Tony Stark either. It isn't about being realistic. It is about creating appealing characters. Appealing doesn't necessarily mean "sexy".

As a hypersensitive gooner retard, I'd be just fine with that, because it means I can make the avatar I want. But I bet you're wrong. And it's never been about playing a character that's "fuckable," that's weird. It's about making an avatar that represents me in the game world. That's why I can't play female characters no matter what they look like.

I mean we know nothing about the Fable character other than how unsexy/unattractive she looks. I don't mind characters that aren't attractive especially if that unattractive look has nothing to do with hygiene/style. the first pic just wouldn't match Starks character of a rich narcissist though who wants everybody to love him. He's not well-groomed but he would make a completely fine Stark for me if he was.

If stark was written as a character who didn't care about what others thought and didn't care about appearances but still was a genius/rich person that would also be an appealing character to me. The unattractive part I just wouldn't care about because I'm not trying to fuck them.

I would be more excited for this game if I can get past the ugliness of this character but I just can't

Fable is probably 8-10 million sold for the entire series. The sheer cost of the newest entry must be at a point where Xbox are wondering if it is even feasible to release, and not just cancel the game.

I understand what you are trying to say, but I also don't see how-how good looking they are is a part of an "appealing character" either when I'm not attracted to them in that way. Question is why would I want Stark to have attractive looks that have nothing to do with his character? I don't find that "appealing" in any way especially as a straight man. Realism I do so the badly groomed person in the first pic just wouldn't make sense for a self-centered playboy and the only reason why it wouldn't work.

I guess I'm in the minority because I do want my character male/female to be a hot ass mf'er. If it's a female character, then Sydney Sweeney level of hotness and if it's a male, grizzled warrior ala Marcus Fenix archetype.

It's not absolutely necessary and I feel for titles like Fable that try to blend in that british humor, the "unattractiveness" is part of the charm. And who knows, maybe it's part of the characters journey to start off Coyote Ugly and end up in prime Angelina Jolee hotness by the end of the story.

I'm glad that this direct is more focused to just 3 (possibly 4) games and would like at least 15 minutes each devoted to each title.
Short trailers are cool for reveals in those big multigame showcases, but for directs, I'd like them to do some deep dives.

Yeah, the game they're about to have a deep dive showcase on in two weeks is definitely getting canceled and DOA.
