Aside from a great year of Big classic IP releases and first party catalog... I think the perfect way to round off the celebration would be (at least) the announcement of new first-party hardware/console. Otherwise, it would feel rather lacking and simply be seen as a great year of first-party releases.

There have been many times I have participated in forum discussions that we all find interesting, important, etc., even though the topic is of little interest to the non-enthusiast crowd.
