Football: A Game Of Two Halves & A Round Ball, It's A Funny Old Game

Macclesfield have just gone 2 up against the FA cup holders Crystal Palace in the 3rd round. It will be one of the biggest upset in it's history (155 years), if they do win.

There are 117 league places between the two teams. Place are in the 1st tier, Macclesfield are in the 6th tier which is non league football.

Gotta love moments like this in football. Unless you support Crystal Palace. Still one of the most kick-ass club names, though.

About 20 minutes left, wasn't sure which match to watch, but I guess it's this one now.

They won!

Little pitch invasion too

I don't know why citeh had to embarrass Exeter like that.

10 goals really necessary? Billion pound team against a team that nearly went out of business. Peps a wanker.

Yeah, there's a balance between respecting the competition by putting out a strong side and then humiliating a smaller club for no reason.

The sooner we get a result of the 115 charges the better. Hopefully they get titles stripped and relegated but I won't hold my breath.

Imagine if the guys currently running united were there during the time when alex ferguson was appointed as the Manager.

Well fuck.. Xabi gone now, and we have a team who can't really play against a team simply defending. Some turnaround from the excitement for start of the new season.
Tonight was of course disappointing, but oh well Arbeloa barely had the chance to even train with the team since everything happened in recent days. At least I hope he'll push the youngsters since clearly there is an issue with the current team... It still doesn't make much sense though how Kroos and Modric left and here we are now.

I figured this would be the case. Casemiro has had some good performances (and some poor ones where he's looked totally exposed), and the team is noticeably worse when he's not on the pitch. But he's not getting any younger and he's on huge wages. It probably does mean United need two central midfielders in the summer, especially given how thin they already are in that area even with Casemiro in the squad.

Work getting in the way of this weeks games... managed to miss Man City get humbled by Bodo/Glimt and tonight ... Liverpool got turned over by Bournemouth....... am cri

Big game tomorrow though... the perennial bottlers vs banter crew playing Carrick tiki-taka.

Mad that United once again have the chance to go fourth if they win tomorrow. The season has been so bad but somehow the opportunity for it to turn out alright is still there. It would be kinda funny if the one where they actually manage to do it is against the league leaders.

The downfall of Arsenal begins tomorrow. Villa to go top. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Bayern lose their first game of the season against Augsburg

At home to a team in 13th... ouch.
