Me and my girlfriend just had to have our cat Pip euthanised, as he had Kidney failure in the night. Blood spots all over the kitchen floor and a blockage in his urethra. The vet said they could operate, but he was unlikely to make it through the general anesthetic because of his age.

The vet said in their honest opinion he was suffering and it was the right time to let him go. We stayed with him until the very end. I just cleaned the blood up everywhere and hid his bed/toys etc to try and keep my girlfriend as calm as possible. Neither of us are dealing with this very well.

Picked up his ashes today. Fourteen days just flew by.

I think I'm going to read the book to decide on the story. But watching the movie is definitely worth it because of some decent sexy scenes and Sweeney's amazing breasts.

The story reminded me a bit of "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn but in that story I felt bad for the husband because he wasn't bad at all.
