I am not really following numbers on free-to-play hero shooters. Is 90K a bad number, I take it? For a first day?
Generally, yeah. Not great. But considering this had only 1 piece of marketing, and literal radio silence ever since until yesterday? Not that bad.

I would wait until end of day to get a real sense of what's going on though. People are at work.

Honestly not bad, could hit 100k tonight.

But it has an 18% overwhelming negative reviews, meaning it's likely to drop to three digits in just in a few weeks.
But is it really bad, or are people just dunking on it for the lulz? To keep on shitting on the game just for the fuck of it?

Just curious, not really invested in this whole bruhaha either way.

That's the issue. I think. there's a lot of morbid curiosity around it. I'm not sure there's enough to hold people beyond that. I didn't expect it to be this sparse.

I started the tutorial, there's a progress bar at the top which was barely progressing, audio was bugged as well... I quit the tutorial because fuck that. Turns out you can't play the main game until you've completed the tutorial?

Uninstalled.

Also performance was ASS.

People are literally downloading it just to negative review it, just reviews saying 'concord 2' with no actual input. The game is okay, not great, not terrible. Has potential.
Feel like it needs more teammates, or smaller maps. Performance is really bad though, 9800x3d with 5070ti at 1440p and getting 100 max lol

Skimed some reviews, looks like they mainly involve bad gameplay structures and optimization issues.

Reviews mostly complain about poor performance + that it's only 3v3, doesn't seem like lots of joke/meme reviews. I guess we'll how it holds up.

People who say its got potential or that its good, not great, are forgetting that just good isn't good enough in the competitive market that it is trying to compete in. There is zero chance this is going to pull anyone away from the mainstays for the long-term.

Not even gonna bother trying it. Dorito Pope is an out of touch dunce if it was actually his decision to make this the ONE MORE THING announcement. I still think they paid for it.

Lol this is headed for the iceberg at warp speed.
Having played a round just now. Its fucking terirble. 3V3 on huge maps and 15s respawns. What a fucking mess.

I seriously doubt he plays games anymore. Probably hasn't in years, maybe a few hours a month but thats it

Explains perfectly how out of touch he is

It seems like most people who downloaded it did so just to leave a bad review, lol.
I mean, the chances of this are really high, especially with all of the negative attention it received.

Again, not surprising. I feel like the only legitimate reviews I've seen were regarding poor performance. Some people crying about the anti-cheat, which I get, but also pretty tiresome at this point, lol.

Down to 73K already. I think people just jumped in, played a couple matches, and moved on.
I think some people did. But I also think people did it just to leave a negative review and leave. Looking at it, it looks like it does have potential, but it's a shame it's getting buried by reviews that don't look too constructive.

I can tell this game isn't for me, but I'm not going to download it and play it just to leave a review and say the equivalent of, "LOL THIS GAME ASS." or something similar.

The poor performance on cards released just a couple years ago(in a damn shooter) and many not liking just 3v3 means player count will likely plummet quickly.
