What game are you currently playing?

Twighlight Princess HD, Wind Waker HD, Yoshis Wooly World, Kid Icarus Uprising, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Fire Emblem Awakening, Breath of the Wild, Bowsers Inside Story, Pikmin 3, Metroid Prime 4, Trails in the Sky FC

I never seem to finish games I play. I wonder why? I'm not kidding I try to juggle way too many games at once. Out of all those games though I'm most focused on Twighlight Princess, having waited 20 years to replay this wonderful Zelda game

I think you should choose one or two games and focus finishing those before moving to the next game.

Last year's warp up I saw people have played 60 and even 80 games but hours they played are so low while I only played 15 games in 2025 I have way more hours compare to them.

This tells me people buy lot of games but barely play any of them. I think you guys should buy less but play more games.

Just finished Bayonetta 3 after waiting for a performance bump from the switch2 and was worth it, runs buttery smooth now. The giant demon slaves are interesting and vary the gameplay quite a bit but change the combat significantly, making the environments huge but also duller.

Love traversing and the effortless transitioning between walking and gliding. Appreciate all the options, especially the skates and yoyo. Like the subtle vibrations while picking up flowers and how they show where you've been, and many other little things that make it charming. Incredible animations.. really love them. The spectacle of it all is unique and fun. Story isn't great, graphics a step down from the last.

Not sure how to rate it compared to the first two. Feels like combat is more interesting due to the variety yet requires less skill. Need to go back and try the others again but for now thinking 2 > 3 > 1.

Still playing Mario Kart World got like 40+ hours playtime so far and I'm on chapter 15 of Doom: Dark Ages. Looks really good on PS5 pro all the demons looks so cool Cyberdemon is probably my favorite and I'm mainly using the shotgun/super shotgun stunning big enemies with the shield saw and the flail as my melee weapon.

Rolling Thunder 2 on the Megadrive.
Waaay better than the Arcade version.
Axiom verge. Absolutely love the aesthetic. Seems to sit somewhere between a Nes/C64 game.
Being encased in a giant Easter egg in order to save is always amusing.

So I am getting to the end of Jedi Survivor... why do they have to stiff me on heals during Cere's part... lol.

After about 5-6 tries of failing to defeat the boss of that section, I wimped out and dropped to EZ.

Tried Arknights Endfield (PS5) and, although I like the setting, very put off by the poor story and writing.

Currently playing No Rest For The Wicked (PC) in coop with the other half. My regular group is playing slowly through Darktide (PS5) and then just the usual Walkabout Mini Golf (Quest 3) with distant friends and family every couple of weeks.

That's awesome! Yeah love practice mode. After completing the game you unlock the Witch Trials - three boss rush runs with 10 levels each. Perfect for playing with all the monsters after.

Valkyria Chronicles - Ch. 6: Duel with Maximillian

I have been practicing in Skirmish mode in-between episodes and mini episodes, trying to get all the angles with the best units.

Snipers are lethal at Level 7 which is why I recruited two more of them. I have only had one unit on my squad this whole time. In hindsight, not ideal.

I also recruited two extra Engineers. These units carry three grenades each. Handy. Begone landmines.
Valkyria Chronicles - Ch. 6: Duel with Maximillian Selvaria

This has been kicking my shit all day long. The battery in my controller ran empty in the middle of the game.

The problem is Selvaria.

When Tits McGee arrives on the scene with the power of Anime and boobs on her side, everyone except for Welkin is toast. I can pick off all of her units with two Snipers but that is where the fun ends and the roadblock begins.

But before that, why does the Edelweiss start next to the Batomys? Did no one notice the humongous enemy tank parked there?

You are having a giggle, mate.

Have you played Valkyrie Chronicles 4? I haven't played the first game yet but VC4 was fantastic. It was super hard though

I have. VC4 is indeed excellent, as is the original.

VC1 has the better story, but VC4 has the better gameplay.
Both VC1&4 are one of my favourite games out there and I hope one day Saga will decide to remake VC3 with VC4 engine.

I only played VC4, I loved the story and gameplay. With the gameplay, I was impressed with how the developers made the end goal of each battle stage to be very different from each other. It just wasn't get to the designated spot under the time limit on time or kill all enemies. It was impressive to me and made me love the game even more

One of my favorite moments in VC4 isn't even story related. In one of the battle stages you needed to use a sniper rifle to hit all four bells at each four bell towers in different locations

VC4 had a really annoying final boss though. Where you had to line up you shot at this massive tank. It took me hours to beat that tank due to the controls kind of sucking during that part

I wouldn't mind them remaking VC1 in VC4 graphics engine. One of my only complaints that I have towards VC4 and the whole franchise in general is that I don't like the white borders around the screen whenever they do a cinematic

I heard the same I never got to play it because it never got released in west and I'm not PC gamer to use emulation.

This is why I want remake of VC3 using VC4 engine.

I would be fine with that due to the game never being released here. I'm tired of remakes personally but if it's remakes of games that never came out outside of Japan like Live A Live than I'm fine with it. Also if it's remake of a game that already came out of Japan but I never played like Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, I'll just play the remake instead if it's any good

I'm currently saving my gaming time for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. I got that preordered on Steam and will be playing it day one. It's been awhile since I played a huge JRPG. I have some issues with hearing about some stuff but I'm still willing to give it a chance

I fucking did it... 14 turns.

I will post screensgrabs later.

The strategy was to get the Edelweiss to the Barious Temple before triggering Selvaria.

Have three Lancers accompanied by an Engineer to feed them ammo. They have to remain hidden until you can pound Batomys or Tits McGee will come for them.

Then, use Edelweiss as a roadblock because Tits McGee won't stray from the Batomys when her units are dead. Bob's your uncle.

I have it on Steam but never got around to it.

so i'm enjoying dragon's dogma... but it's becoming clear how i ended up in the dlc last time

unless i'm supposed to grind the road to the capital and surrounding area, i don't know where else to go at level 16... everything is kicking our ass

the quests i have all take me to ass poundings... i'm missing a key quest/route, or maybe i just need to level up

Almost 100% Echoes of Wisdom. My opinion improved by the end, but not by much. Game could have been so much more I feel like. Midish.

Now not sure what I'm going to do. Played the DQ VII reimagined demo and loved that, but don't want a game key card. Might play Dragon Quest III Remake, or Robocop, or something else.. or nothing!

Then get it for different system? I getting this game on my PS5 even this I also own Switch 2.

Really wanted it on Switch 2. So I'll just wait for now maybe pick it up on Switch or Ps5 down the road.
For me games like FFT and Octopath 0 I got for Switch 2 because I'm mostly gonna play those on my bed before going to sleep.

But for games like DQVII, RE9, MHStories 3 and Pragmata I'm mostly going to play them on my big screen so I rather get them on my PS5.

This is why I want them for Switch 2. I want to be able to play it anywhere, which is why it's so frustrating. I wish Nintendo hadn't released this game key card bullshit, because Square would obviously be releasing regular carts just like they do on Switch as evidenced by FFT and DQ VII. I will probably end up just buying both on regular Switch performance be damned.

Just beat Divinity OS2 yesterday after 232 hours , great game but as far as Crpgs go I think I like Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2 more . Maybe I'll give BG3 a try now in like a month but now I just need a cooldown period before diving into another big game . I'll probably finish Armored Core 6 in the mean time , pretty sure I'm near the end.

i'm in the same boat, i'd rather have the cart

i might wait on dqvii cause i just played 11, and am working through iii/i/ii 2.5 remakes and have a bit of fatigue

but i'm ready to pull the trigger on the ff:tactics cart

Playing GTA Vice City Stories on PCSX2. Too bad that Rockstar hasn't made a proper remake of GTA San Andreas as i would love to play it and the Nextgen Edition is still far away.

...been playing Dargon's Dogma. I'm only 17 hours in, but so far it feels like another PS3 game that was overrated because there was nothing else to play.

Come on in!... the water is a boring slog!

The world feels poorly designed. No matter where I go, in any direction, the monsters end up a much higher challenge than my party can handle.

There are occasional glimpses of brilliance... finally a dungeon! The game gets dark, I have my lantern and supply of oil. Tight corridors, enemies just around the corner. Then it ends as quickly as it started, the cave is over... an exit on the other side, or dead end. My reward?... a chest with a boring ring, or seemingly useless crafting component.

The loot is just boring and unrewarding, with little progression at all. I have these amazing outfits we recieved after delivering the snake head... possibly added for the DLC. There's no point to using anything else so far, as I near level 20.

The spells are ok, but I a bit boring. I wonder if I should have played melee. There have been some fun fights, as I watch my fighter and rogue climb all over ogres and chimeras, I cast my fireball over and over.

It's possible the game gets better, but at almost 20 hours, I wonder how long I have to play before the fun happens. Tired of looking for the videogame, I'm going to take a break and play Hades2 some more. 🤷‍♂️

After the last update the Definitive Edition remaster of San Andreas is really good.
Really? Interesting i might check it out. It was such a failure at launch.
But i've read the last patch was November 12 2024. Is that correct? Didn't they update the game later on?
