• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

No Rest for the Wicked will be priced at $60 when leaving early access, game's currently on sale for $24 till Feb 5th (40% off on Steam)

I'm not trying to do any FOMO marketing here, but yes: when we hit 1.0, No Rest for the Wicked will move to $60

The more you buy the more you save. Game is well worth it for $24. Even if it just stayed as it exists right now. Very fun game.

Moon Studios' art is one of the kind in the industry. Bought the game just for arts and Thomas's dev philosophy. Will wait till 1.0 to have the full experience.

I never cared about it.
Looks absolutely amazing tho

I just could not give a fuck about it.

Maybe i will try when it hits 1.0

I tried the free weekend using mouse and keyboard and it seemed quite playable at the start of the game despite them recommending controller. How does it go later on when it's obviously going to get harder? Has anyone played the entire game with mouse and keyboard?

Purchased! Can't wait to play some co op once it launches but even single player is amazing.

Picked this up yesterday and played a little bit last night and today. Just got to Sanctuary. Pretty fun so far!
The facial animations in one of the cutscenes on the opening boat portion was pretty damn good.

Definitely worth it, my flatmate owns it so I'm good for a while until we want to do co-op.

The whole dev team seem like great people, I PM'd Gennadiy Korol on twitter for help with fixing HDR and he replied with long informative messages, lovely man.

Wish I could've played during the free weekend to see if it's something I'd want to buy but that damn winter storm kept me away from my PC

It's a beautiful game with some fun moments but to me there wasn't really any thrill with finding chests. There just filled with duplicate items you already have and I was spending alot of time managing my inventory as well as how much weight I can carry. I get that this is what these games do but I didn't care for this part.

This is one of those PS Plus games. Probably doesn't offer much for 60 dollars despite looking good in trailers.
Honestly one of the best games I've ever played. I've got 100 hours in it, just waiting on more content. You can not care about it, and not post about it ya know?

Idk man that's a tall ask…
If this deal was on consoles I'd buy 2.

PC gamers are not fungible with console gamers. We spend big on the quality software. shit I've had it on my wishlist longer than any other game. 24 bucks is a pittance for the quality inevitably on offer when it costs 19.99 to rent anaconda on ppv.

I haven't played the new update but the game is great. I really think Moon is cooking up something special. I've only put 15 or so hours in it and stopped just to wait for 1.0 release.

How long is the EA? How may hours? Does it has full campaign? Sliver of an end game? Whats missing now?

I meant the $60 at launch.

I already own the game.

Was my GOTY for awhile but I fell off it, then returned after a bigger update and had to start over, played til a difficult boss, then fell off again. Now I'm not really interested in it anymore. Would I have to start over after this update? Last save was near that sewer boss with tentacles.

FOMO success! I bought it.
Sentenza gave it a glowing recommendation in another thread, so I just needed a small push to get it.

It's not great. Parrying and directional shield for soaking attacks is very hard to pull off on KBM.

Climbing edges, traversing fallen trees and similar to find secret areas or loot is also an exercise in frustration. Most of the time I just fell and died lol.

Buy it if you have a controller else wait for 1.0 ( though tbf even then I would also recommend a controller ). There are some games that are just made for a controller and while you can force play them on KBM, you'll might not get the enjoyment and experience the devs want you to get.

Amazing game but a controller is imo a must for the best experience. ( inventory management imo is obviously better on KBM )
