Is this a single combined style? I've never heard of it.

Different genres but they are very similiar.
Basically 90s UK and Europe club scene. The original PlayStation exploited this sound with a lot of demo disc music, game soundtracks etc. Similiar sounds were all over games around that time too.

If you haven't already, there's a treasure trove of video game Y2K era dnb/acid mixes on YouTube

The tracks posted thus far are not entirely dissimilar to the music in the Gunmetal soundtrack. No, not Gun Metal. The less well-known pseudo-mech FPS from 1998.

A sample:

This channel has posted a lot of the music, but 7 tracks are missing. The entire OST was available for free on the CBC's website a long time ago. I guess it's fully royalty free, if you can find it.

Thank you for giving examples of the genre, OP.

As I have no idea what to go for I'll post a few from Acid House Kings:

Edit: And here's the jungle part:

Venjet doesn't count right? I don't have anything to suggest then. I have been looking for new music to listen to so I clicked through this thread and what I heard was interesting.

Also, uh... Sparta from Running Man (TV Series) and #42069. Jong-kook and my Ass ID.

I appreciate it, I love game cues that hit the genre. Lego Rock Raiders on PlayStation was incredible with the music in that regard.
