Different genres but they are very similiar.
Basically 90s UK and Europe club scene. The original PlayStation exploited this sound with a lot of demo disc music, game soundtracks etc. Similiar sounds were all over games around that time too.

That was awesome drumming. It's unfortunate that the guy who owns the channel is definitely a douche, as is anyone who poses for their picture in that self important manner that he does for his YouTube avatar pic. Just awful.

I appreciate it, I love game cues that hit the genre. Lego Rock Raiders on PlayStation was incredible with the music in that regard.
