Take a look at the Release Date Trailer for Wicked Seed, a classic turn-based survival horror game developed by Dead Right Games. Players will customize their loadout, exploit enemy weaknesses in combat, and survive a variety of sinister encounters. Wicked Seed is launching on January 23 for PC (Steam) with a demo available now.

I like the concept in general and hope its gameplay is decent, but remain skeptical due to the bootleg Clair Redfield and cheap asset flip environments and enemies.

This game came out today so I bought it. Its actually kind of neat. Clearly built mostly by one dude on a shoe string budget, but its got some neat ideas and mostly succeeds at executing them

It plays like the first Parasite Eve. You move around in real-time and then attack and perform other options via a command menu, like in a turn based RPG.

Wicked Seed completely surprised me. It's a survival horror shooter that takes heavy inspiration from Resident Evil and Parasite Eve, and somehow turns it into brutal, weirdly fun combat.

I meant to update this thread but I finished the game a few days ago. Last chapter is the weakest but as a whole the game definitely impressed me. The game mechanics especially the combat felt way more polished and tight than you'd expect from a 3D indie game made by one guy.

Agreed. Last chapter was the weakest but I didn't hate it. Did you have a favourite? I finished it yesterday and I'm tempted to go through again. Hope the dev makes a sequel.

I liked the middle chapters the most I think. I especially thought the way the sewers, back alleys, and police station were all interconnected was neat.

Put 40 hours into it getting most of the achievements/challenges done. Super fun game, just wish there was more. Maybe the upcoming randomizer will give a bit more life to it.
