Catherine O’Hara has passed away at 71 years of age

Damn.
RIP.

Damn man, this is a tough one. She was still actively working, too. It'll be tough not having her in The Studio.

She's absolutely dynamite in every single thing she's in, and she'll be insanely missed.

Rest in peace, legend.

Are you fucking kidding me! She voiced Sally! My god. The news keeps hitting harder.

I was completely unaware too. Sally was my favorite character in Nightmare Before Christmas. Wonderful songs and the vulnerability in that character's voice just breaks your heart ... :messenger_loudly_crying:

One of the rare cases where the term "legend" truly applies. What an amazing career. Hats off to an absolutely legendary actress. Thank you for all the laughs. Rest in Peace.

First time I ever saw Catherine O'Hara in anything was on the TV sketch comedy show SCTV. Her and John Candy were part of the same cast.

RIP.

Some of her best sketch comedy routines happened on SCTV:

I think she was mostly there for the first four seasons or so... the show as only on the air for like six. That's her and John Candy.

I'm going picture her getting a big hug from John Candy up in heaven!
This is on par with losing Robin Williams. She was a big part of my entertainment upbringing and was exceptional in so many roles.

Yeah this fuckin sucks. Home Alone 1 and 2 are an important part of my families Christmas routine every single year. They will hit different this year when we watch them together again. RIP.

Video had like 64 million views and is the most popular thing that is connected to the movie Beetlejuice. The original Beetlejuice is still one of my favorite movies of all time.

One of the best comedic actresses of all time.

This is a gargantuan, monumental loss. This was an immensely talented woman, so likable, so funny, and also just a great actress.
