Final Resident Evil Requiem previews are dropping in

Thankfully RE9 has both 1st and 3rd person so everyone can enjoy.
Well not the fixed camera obsessed folks, who refuse to play anything other than the older ones. I even know people who were stuck with revelations 1 for years. They played only that one game day for day over a decade. Just recently they moved on to revelations 2 lol.

Edit: I was trying to be a snarky little dooder to bender bender but for some reason I couldn't quote him....twas a joke failure.

Any tips on getting this mod working on steamdeck? I have trouble with some mods working including that fixed camera mod I desperately want to try.

I'm using reframe work. It's just a basic toggle. I haven't tried any stand-alone FP mods. I got reframe work from here:
https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases

I downloaded the RE2.zip file. Then you extract it and place it in your game folder. Then it should initialize when you boot the game up(press insert if it doesn't work) and you simply click the drop-down menu labeled first person and click to enable. You can do cutscenes in fp too but it will have some weird glitches. It's cool tho. Maybe someone else can answer how to get the stand alone to work cause having to plug in a mouse and keyboard may be a pain with the Deck.

Almost forgot, you want to click on camera and enable global FOV and put it on 100 or else the fp mode is claustrophobic af

did any of you manage to complete 'Ethan must die"?

Worth it? I backlogged it and wonder if it's worth the time before RE9 hits

you can (in Requiem), 7 and 8 are FP.
Since I was getting conflicting answers I checked the wiki, in case anyone else was wondering here's what it says:

"Resident Evil Requiem allows players to switch between first-person or third-person perspectives at any time, marking a departure from recent Resident Evil entries that featured exclusively first-person gameplay. First-person perspective is the default for Grace's sections and third-person for Leon's sections."

RE7 was first person only. RE8 was at first, but after the DLC dropped they also included the ability to switch to TPS.

Man I just want a demo
It would radically cut into game sales.
Ask anyone who's played it what they think of playing as the girl.
Even in a best-case scenario demos are a terrible way to move games.
Giving users a 2hr refund window on sales is the correct way to allow a free trial.

It didn't do the previous games any harm though.

Half horror and half action game.
That turns me off right there.

I wanted another great horror game, not a gore slaughter action game like RE 4 and beyond.

Maybe wait a bit till the game comes out before jumping into judgement territory? RE4 Remake is action focused but it's very well mixed with horror elements.

Now that we seen how fast the stalker is taken care of I think confirms its not Alyssa. Looks to be insignificant to the plot.

I looked at the previews and i know that RE4 was not for me at all.
Of course i wait until the game is out, but for now my judgement is that it is most likely not for me. The previews very quite extensive. I honestly dont think the reviews will stray far from the previews.

Besides, i thought judging games without playing them is kinda neogafs main theme . :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Giving away free demos does harm by reducing game sales.
Statistics on game sales show that games with demos sell an average of 50% less than games with only trailers.
Selling people games at full price with a 2hr trial period is the best way to increase sales while giving people a risk-free taste.

From its origins as an open world, multiplayer game to how its zombies are receiving an intellectual upgrade, here's everything to know about Resident Evil Requiem.

You mean this?! It's basically the main art for digital releases.
