GGG took all the Diablo players, and for good reason. I don't hate d4 like most people but PoE2 and PoE are simply better. And both games get huge support. Rather than support this d2 remake they support the fucking mobile game alongside d4. D4 feels like PoE for brainlets.
I think I would even buy a d3 remaster at this point. The adventure mode was more fun than d4 seasonal shit by a mile.

While still not the same, you can toggle to old visual style in real time similar to the Monkey Island Remakes. I agree though, they should offer the original.

Every Blozzard game needed one for 20 years now. The BN integration is very good, at least in Diablo 4 it connects seamlessly without any extra launcher.

No it isn't a big deal because the newer and live service Diablo 4 has already been on Steam for 2.4 years.

My blizzard account is tied to steam with d2
it works on the nintendo switch also.
I just tested it.
A char i made on switch also showed up on my steam version
Offline chars are just savegame swaps i believe

Yeah, I know about online server characters, I only play offline. No friends and sometimes I use my computer with crap internet so I'd rather no rubber band if I don't need to. Just sucks that there are no cloud saves like most other modern games. I guess I could use a usb drive to swap, but I'd have to do it daily if I wanted to play at home and away over and over. Oh well, it's fine.
