God I hope this is good, already not happy about the simplified character designs, yes, I know it makes it easier to animate, I don't care. That plus if they add CG like they did for part 6 and if Netflix splits it up into 3 chunks again that release 6 months apart from one another that kills the hype of consistent releases, all those things would be a huge letdown for what is one of the best, if not the best arc in the series so far.

Golden Wind is part 5, Steel Ball Run is part 7, it's the first part after the Jojo's Universe got completely reset at the end of part 6.

When I was 21 I wanted this so bad, now it's finally here and looks incredibly mediocre I simply don't care.

The opening will determine the quality ultimately, I was dubious about Part 5 but the first opening was incredible and it ended up being the best animated part.

man. this trailer look good. everyone talking about these horses made me scared for the final product. Story look good. Love the Wacky Races type of anime Redline being top chart in the genre.
But now, same thing with POWAAAS???!!
I'm kind of hype about this.

Good thing to say here is that this universe reset isn't so much an alternate timeline and more a different universe where you get some of the same concepts, but in a completely different context. With that said, I'm sure Araki decided on this because it lets him have more freedom writing whatever he wants.

Strong start too with Steel Ball Run which is a fan favourite for a reason. Sadly, its been downhill since and JoJoLands may have finally filtered me out.

I dropped Diamond is not Crash in Japanese because I simply don't like that part much but if I wanted to watch it now I'd watch the dub. I also liked the Part 6 dub but also dropped it cuz Part 6 sucks.

I do not envy the english voice actors for Jojo, the Japanese voices do so much heavy lifting for the theme of the show. I am beyond excited to see Steel Ball Run animated though.
