Celebrity Death Thread

Fuck that's grim and the only thing that can be said is they all went together, Christ can you imagine being a sole survivor of something like that where you pretty much lose your entire family

James Ransone has passed at the age of 46 apparently took his own life

As someone who is currently struggling with wanting to self delete its always weird seeing celebrities do it, maybe that's just me.

RiP.

Dont do it man. Talk to one of us.

RIP to Ziggy. One of the dumbest, yet most memorable tragic characters in the greatest show of all time.

RIP BB.

Scott Adams creator of Dilbert that captured office life so well passed today. His comics were pretty on point about management and the people you work with.

He also gained recognition as a political entity in his later years. But I don't want to get into the politics.

I've been a daily listener to Scott for the last decade. This one hits hard. He went out with a ton of dignity and made a difference to a lot of lives. 🙏

I hope there are Hong Kong podcaster equivalents doing retrospective interviews with these greats that eventually get translated. Just imagine the stories of making those films back in the day. RIP
There already are if you have Hong Kong cinema on physical media. You'll find them in the extra content.

Damn, I'm so late on this one. He had some crazy roles, you could tell this guy had some demons, I thought he was great. I've only seen him in Ken Park, fucking crazy scene where he erotic-asphyxiates himself using a belt and a door knob and jerks off while watching a women's tennis match and actually comes in the scene. He was fucking hilarious in Tangerine. RIP to a legend.

Stay strong, man.

I think Robocop 2 is a worthy sequel. And I liked Noonan -- he had a vulnerability, but such a menacing undertone. I know he was probably a good guy in a few films, but they don't come to mind. Rest in peace, sir.

New York's Chief Medical Examiner office said Wednesday, Feb. 18, that Greene, who was 60, died of a "gunshot wound of left axilla with injury of brachial artery." (The axilla is the armpit.) The manner of death was deemed an "accident."

That's a new twist. I thought it was accidently OD or something. Accidental gunshot in the arm while he was on his room alone?

Very sad to hear about Eric, I feel like it hasn't been that long since he announced he's sick and planning to keep working. I mainly remember him from The Last Ship, this show had a great first season, then started to dip but was still enjoyable.
