DF has been glazing Nvidia since 2018 in exchange for exclusive access. Imagine that DF, a relatively unknown media outlet in the pc space got exclusive previews, interviews and access to the RTX 3080, RTX 4090 and even the 5090? How? Because they're forever glazing Nvidia. They've sort of become an unofficial marketing arm for Nvidia. Anytime Nvidia is about to release something new, DF is there to release a long ad masquerading as tech content.

People were posting comparisons with path tracing on and off saying she looked like a crackwhore without the latest and greatest techniques but now that AI is involved some are throwing a fit.

I've been watching CP¨2077 vids with mods and path tracing and it's a sight to behold, did a playthough on it on the Pro and honestly it felt 2 gens older than what I'm seeing in the videos, considering the increase in not only fidelity and performance... Pretty sure same fuckers complaining about this were talking shit about "fake frames" too.
Anyways, definitely getting a GPU by the end of the year.

i think you've nailed it here. the reaction is basically him feeling betrayed by his peers and hes lashing out on others. Misplaced anger typical of people with mental issues John admits to suffering from. Either he's pissed that he missed out on a big payday or he's just upset that he wasnt even told about the tech internally before it went public. Either way, he's more upset with Richard than with the masses online.

He's literally repeating what most kneejerk takes to this tech is, acting like he's the rebel doing a brave thing...fucking complete loser. Literally the same shit 1m+ subscriber youtubers will do reacting to drama, coming out with the safe opinion, but they throw in some cuss words to act like they're taking some strong defiant stand that is entirely pandering to the crowd.

It's more about how they went about covering it, not just the action of covering it.
Put on a video of youtubers who normally cover the latest phones and you'll see what I mean. In terms of tech media, phone youtubers usually have the most light-hearted opinions of new phones and tech, because of how they want to keep a good relationship with that company and be sent the next upcoming phone.
It ends up in other lesser known media (or non-phone tech youtubers) having to actually discuss the flaws of said phones.
The vaginators at Digital Foundry went into full vaginosis, and the head vaginator went on his period having run out of tampons.
Apparently in the last few hours someone ran to the grocery store, bought him a box of tampons , and now everything is cool/.
