Blog states it Will be patched, we don't know if the patch Will bring back pssr to performance mode.Performance mode not use PSSR anyway. For now.
Counting on it as I can't play tonightGot it! Doing a comparison video shortly![]()
No pssr in 60fps mode right? And looks like sh2 Quality mode is fixed with the toggle guys, no more shimmering, looks very sharp too.
Excellent. Now we wait for the performance mode to be patched back in!And looks like sh2 Quality mode is fixed with the toggle guys, no more shimmering, looks very sharp too.
That will need a game patch. Since they are explicitly mentioned in the blog, it's just a matter of time, I think. No pssr in 60fps mode right?
Its unlikely but not impossible some of those games getting specific updates come with optimisations or not. I wouldn't hold my breath.Thank you. But will there be any improvement for PS5 games that didn't have PSSR1 to begin with?
You might need to roll back?No update yet am on the beta....
Yeah, just tried RE4 Remake and it does look sharper. Its funny how re4 in hfr/pssr mode now looks sharper than the normal 60 fps mode that does not use pssr.
What about the bubble shadow effects on the trees and the downpour at the beginning? And looks like sh2 Quality mode is fixed with the toggle guys, no more shimmering, looks very sharp too.
It looks cleaner than native 4k. My default mode now.GT7 looks much cleaner to my eyes.
Yeah opt out of the beta and it'll update to the new versionYou might need to roll back?
God damn does BF6 look so much cleaner.
Prior the firmware update, I remember the beginning of the Game looking very bad, definitely worse than the performance mode because of the shimmering. I did some testing turning off the toggle without restarting the console but it seems that it does not affect the looks of this Game, but it definitely got fixed...I can't tell the difference in SH2 quality mode. Do I have to restart the system each time I toggle?
I think I can confirm this. Did quick checks on Days Gone Remastered, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster and Horizon Forbidden West and all feel smoother when moving the camera and running around.Side note: anyone notice an increase in smoothness to some of these games as well? bF6 and Control felt buttery smooth in a way that I don't recall previously
Errrr.... you are joking, right? My goodness it sure didn't fix the pop-in on FFVII Rebirth. Overworld is almost unplayable in all the performance modes.
