I'd be willing to bet money Sony had a marketing deal with Pearl Abyss to only show Ps5 Pro footage or something along those lines before launch to push pro sales. For crying out loud we've seen this game running on a MAC already. Everyone needs to chill out and just not pre-order if you really are that concerned about it.

Ultimately the marketing team failed here so that's on them. If there's nothing to hide, then there should be no problem releasing gameplay footage potential customers are asking for.

The sop in September literally had their launch trailer on ps5 pro exclusively. They have exclusive PS5 pre-order bonuses that no other platform has also. There is clearly a marketing deal.

Not that this matters anyway as they just released base console footage on the japan PlayStation channel now.

They are probably getting spammed and want to finish their game. If the base PlayStation on Xbox version need the work then let them have the time to do it even if they have to wait till the game comes out. We have seen previews of other stuff and it at least running on the pro but I'm not giving them a complete pass it's just that they are developing a pretty anticipated game that I think clearly some people seem to want to fail my others are getting on my curious but the forums have become genuinely more annoying people worrying about player counts and these trends aren't really healthy. Not a fan of it

Reforge has been extremely obnoxious about the whole ordeal. He just wants some attention, maybe needs it. If people pre-order a product without any information that's on them. Reforge coming off as some protector of Base console players. Sure, it's strange, at best, nothing has been shown for base consoles and only specs. well, guess what... wait until someone reviews it and make a decision then.

That doesnt look very good at all, even compared the the Pro footage. Although the video quality is terrible so maybe harsh to judge from this vid.

EDIT. Actually i take it back, the menu screens and video overlays are very high quality, clean and sharp, so this could very well be PS5 footage and man its blurry as hell, and lacks the fine detail of the other versions.

And what exactly people expected from 1080p without any reconstruction? This won't look much better than FFVII Rebirth when it comes to image quality on base PS5.

For what it's worth, resolution and image quality are drastically different things. Plenty of games this gen claim to be one thing but the actual image on screen is laughably blurry and low quality.

I'm sure this game will be fine. But it's annoying they aggressively won't show footage.

Someone else in this thread provided this link. It's in Japanese though. It looked average to me. Not eye gougingly bad, but not gorgeous either. As far as performance, I noticed a little stuttering in combat, but not enough for it be game breaking or anything. Looks solid technically. Thankfully, we don't seem to have a Cyberpunk situation ahead of release.

Those are static screens too, they werent moving in them. I thought it was just bad video quality at first but when they go into the menu's, everything is crisp and sharp.

Said this, the treatment both media and "fans" have given PA since the game was revealed has been embarrassing to say the least, each group of retards with their own agendas. Let's see if CD Projekt working on Unreal 5 receives the same level of scrutiny. I already know the answer.

Most people want Crimson Desert to succeed but their refusal to show base PS5/XSX footage being that very same Cyberpunk situation to front of the mind.
