The way this series went is nothing short of incredible. Still remember watching the first one as teen in the cinema. It was about a group of thugs stealing DVD players... LOL
Then Vin Diesel became too good for the series, only to circle back to it after all his other ventures failed and now he ain't doing anything but these films. How ironic.

Miss the 90s and early 00s when no one wanted to do sequels and we got new shit all the time. Good days.

This series is so overrated, not even the 1st one was good, not even in a campy, "so bad it's good sense". I never understood, and I love JDM culture, love Gran Turismo since '97. My dream car is a 92 NSX. With that said, I'll still celebrate its anniversary in my own quiet, neutral way. I'm excited for the Universal Studios roller coaster.

Is Paul Walkers brother doing the role and they are using CGI AI to add Paul's appearance/voice in his place?
The character will likely be brought back using a combination of advanced CGI and potentially the help of Paul Walker's brothers, similar to the approach used in Furious 7 , some previous unreleased footage might be used.

I've seen the first four, and it still boggles my mind that there are five of these that I haven't seen.

I'll get around to them eventually, I suppose. Enjoyed the first one.

Never could get into this dudebro ridiculousness even though I like some dudebro movies and Vin Diesel.

Every day for the last three weeks you've been coming in here and you've been asking me how the tuna is. Now, it was crappy yesterday, it was crappy the day before and guess what? It hasn't changed.

Never the same without Paul Walker. I enjoyed the second one a lot for some reason. Some of the best cars in that one.

But the whole tone of the series changed and became to crazy, car in space? Still good pop corn flicks.

The first is the only genuinely decent films in the series.

The rest are still enjoyable enough due to how fucking stupid and over-the-top they are.

This shit is probably one of the funniest humor sketches that I ever saw.
They spent an entire day with 2 Vin Diesel impersonators from Brazil, made the guys travel to another city, to attend in one of those promotional events of the movie while promising that they will have time to ask Vin Diesel a couple of questions in the end of a press junket in english (none of them speaks English).

Only to, in the end, put them face to face with another impersonator.

The faces they make while trying to ask and answer questions in English without breaking character are priceless.

Bringing people back from the dead with AI and other fancy tech stuff rubs me the wrong way, but this is obviously something his family (especially Paul's brothers considering they'll be doing the acting) are happy to sign off on.

It CAN be done tastefully with the right people doing it. Still weird though.

Personally, I'd leave it alone. The scene with Brian and Dom driving off in different directions worked really well. The overall story to the series has gotten so insane that they don't really need Paul's character back.

Vin obviously sees something we don't. I know money talks and all that bollocks, but I don't think he would agree to it if it was done in bad faith. I hope not, anyway.

Get back to Riddick once this is finished with, please.

Fast Five is my clear favourite and F9 is by a long way the worst of the bunch due to them taking the ridiculousness passed 100 on the scale and that's really saying something for this series.

I'm one of the weird ones who LOVES 2F2F the most. Its just pure fun, still had good races, Paul was always my favorite in the series, and no stupid Vin to annoy me.
