Hrap v3 sa

BTW doesnt recognize my KB either (razer black widow i think it's called) except the home button for gwl shit. I have to use xbox controller to navigate menus.

Ok i got it work by doing the following:

My hrap v3 sa has a switch to set the stick to correspond to the ps3's analogue input instead of the dpad. I switched it then removed my 360 controller because it caused the game to crash when cofiguring. Then i plugged in a bluetooth keyboard because it didnt want to use my razer.

Does it work with the Saturn pad like SF4?

So how is it? Any cool extra features or anything?
Will be downloading this tonight, hopefully i can get a few games in!
Any steam peeps wanna friend me for future play send an invite to me!

obviously we don't own super fancy hardcore tournament sticks so we don't get that option, I guess we're mere peasants to Capcom now and they decided to ban our casual sticks from this version of the game when they worked like a dream with SFIV Vanilla, tomorrow we're getting this trash back to the shop and getting a refund, thanks Capcom, feels nice to see your new 'PC support' attitude. F U by the way.

Another thing they fucked up: Doesn't support resolutions beyond 1080p. Even vanilla could.

.

the game looks and runs amazing even on modest hardware but so many things fucked up, their QA staff are comprised of monkeys.

Errr...if true, I can't wrap my mind around these kinds of regressions.

This just has to be a mistake, they would have to go out of their way to limit it to 1080p since most games just take their resolution options from Windows...

Edit: Oh who am I kidding, it's the same people that region locked me out of this game and Lost Planet 2 even though all their previous games are available.

Capcom has a really really bad history with PC ports. RE4 didn't even let you use a mouse and it was a port of the PS2 version instead of the GC version, meaning it didn't even have shadows -_-

max settings 8 x AA 16 x AF on a really old and modest PC (2006 Dual-Core with some Nvidia Card)

140 fps

SFIVAEPC.jpg

but some sticks that previously worked with SFIV PC Vanilla won't work with AE anyway so it's worth nothing.

Can't be true. Nearly every game that has this problem is still easily fixable via config file editing. That's not the case here?

Oh man, my Qanba sticks have POV switches I think. This sucks, I hope the community release a fix for it (won't bet on Capcom). I don't want to use joy2key :/

Didn't try to edit config file but it doesn't let you do it in the options menu while vanilla did.

That was back when Capcom used to outsource their PC ports.

This. They are solid now and do it internally with their MT Framework engine (my favourite, soon to be tied with Frostbite 2). Their PC versions the last few years have been some of the finest in PC gaming period.

Just tried to edit ini to change res to 5880x2246 (6 monitors with bezel correction, worked in vanilla) and when I booted it just reverted to 1080p

I own this for the PS3 already, but preordered it on Steam pretty much because I was looking forward to playing it at 2560x1440. This is very disappointing.

Why do we still live in an era where I have this preloaded and Americans are playing it but I can't because I'm in the UK? Bah.

The funny thing is the only reason why we can preload is because the game was made available on servers for the people who are able to play it now.

Keyboard - not working
Arcade stick - not working
360 pad - working
my hands - not working

If I try to change anything in the button config, it crashes.

I got it to kind of work by using something I found online along with xpadder =\ I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Why do we still live in an era where I can't even see this on the Steam store because apparently I don't live in a region important enough for Capcom for a timely release?

anyone on 360 able to find the new costume pack yet?
It's there in "Xbox Live Marketplace" on the menu of SSF4AE, for some reason you can't find it in the Game Marketplace yet. :/

Anyone know why the PC version has so much lag? On the PS3(same monitor), I don't get any lag at all, but when I switch to PC, the fucking input lag is off the charts. I'm accustomed to the slight, slight change between the 360 version and the PS3 version, but the PC version is ridiculous for me.

I connect my PS3 to my monitor via some HDMI -> DVI dongle and my PC just uses VGA.

Steam is molesting me hardcore. Two hours later, I'm at 6%. It keeps stopping and starting. I really should have preloaded this. Too bad I didn't have the money until today!
Same issue here, it's not stable at all.

I'd suggest using something like X360CE to have one of your other controllers emulate a 360 pad. It usually works for new PC games. And once you've done it for one game, you can just copy/paste the config files directly into other games.

I'm more concerned about the reportedly terrible graphics options and shitty multiplayer support. Not that the multiplayer code is much of a surprise! Thanx GFWL/Capcom!

Try turning v synch off & setting it to variable framerate.

Well steam finally finished downloading but when I run the game I just get a blank screen. Both the steam overlay and the games for windows overlay work but the otherwise everything is completely black. Verifying my cache now to see if it helps anything.

game works fine on my 360 fight pad (the ones that came out the same time as SF4). One thing to note, I did have to verify my cache twice, and both times it reported no errors, and yet both times it showed a few KB downloaded in my downloads tab.

haven't tried any other input method.

Try switching servers in the Steam settings (Downloads + Cloud) til you find one that downloads to your max speed. I'm from LA, and the Sacramento server was downloading at full speed for me.

Why do some games do this? I've verified a lot of games, with no errors, yet some games always download something small.

I'll have to start downloading this tonight. Sucks there was no pre-load.

Yeah, that helped. Thanks. Online play is good so far, I haven't had any problems yet.

Purchased thanks. Oni alt 2 has battle damage. I think that's a first for SF. I wonder if we'll see more of it in further games. His stone body falls apart and you can see the dark energy inside. Quite a bit comes off.

Anyone with the Steam version able to purchase the costumes? I know Capcom will be utilizing Steam for DLC of Steam copies but I want to know what they did to stop Steam users from just buying it off GFWL.

They might not do anything considering they probably don't care where you buy it so long as you do. Why would they try to stop people from buying it?
