Listen, you can just barely hear a Dean Cain laugh.

Dude doesn't look like superman. He looks like an Italian mobster in a Halloween costume.
 
There's a fierceness to his Superman look. I dig it too but it doesn't really have that traditional stoic Superman feel.
 
Looks kinda scaley.... Seems ok though. It will all depend on the script and performance though. They did take a lesson from Dean Cain and put the cape attached to the front of the shoulders to begin with though.
 
Not crazy about the material the costume is made out of, or the way his hair isn't more flat on the sides, but aside from that it looks good.

Yep. I think it'd look a lot better if they just didn't have that same texture on the "S" and just had it smooth with no texturing.
 
Hair buggs me a bit (but i'm still waiting for my favourite Superman hericut - 90's mullet!)
Suit's ok.

That CGI doors look terrible though.
 
I love the fierce look, although when I see it I just hear Kevin Smith's voice in my head saying "Well look in his eyes in that movie, he has the eyes of a violent caged animal...a fucking killer!"

I've got nothing against this movie, or Cavil. But I just don't see Superman in that shot. There's no kindness in the eyes, you know? With Reeve and Routh, you knew you were looking at a good guy. This dude looks like a thug in Superman's clothes.

I'll be happy to be proved wrong. I really hope I'm wrong. But I dunno. I just don't see Superman there.
 
I like it. Hopefully it'll be a good movie.

I think both will be good but way to early to tell which will be better.

Hmmm, not digging it much tbh. His face is a bit weird but that may just be the shot, his hair also. Almost looks like a bad guy. Also the leathery/scalyness of suit is a bit much, especially it's also on the S chest piece. Also, the background bank vault thing being destroyed and bent up is laughable, looks like plastic. Other than that, it's Superman alright. I'll give it a shot though, we'll wait and see. Also, notice how his crotch area is deliberately shadowed.. they don't want all the red panties controversy coming up again as it did with returns. His suit overal just doesn't transfer well into the modern age, it's too simple; needs to be re-envisioned.
 
He looks like some kind of magician pretending to be the Superman escaping from the vault. Just has that Gob look on his face and the hairstyle...
