Why do people enjoy AP? It's just a bunch of 14% Soul Stealer / Devourer / Pebbles players, when we were try harding with Kag and Loki, we played the same 7 heroes over and over. So annoying, I'm glad they got rid of random gold in AP, less incentive for people to want it thumbsed up in TMM.

My brothers and I love doing randoms, it provides incentive to try out new heroes and weird lane combinations. At the tryhard level only so few heroes are viable with the way certain players or groups of friends play so we mostly end up picking the same few top tier heroes.

Man, I used to just hang around in HoN threads because I liked Savage and wanted to show some kind of support for whatever S2 was doing (main reason why I bought the account in beta and never played), but I finally decided to pick it up and I really like it.
My stats aren't that great, and I'm only playing casual, mostly so I can learn what heroes do what and who stuns, aoes, rapes quickly, etc, but it's enriching. I haven't been raged at once, and there was only a single game where some guy sounded like he was cussing someone out, in Swedish.
Good times.
I like Glacius, Revenant and Flux so far.

WS is just afk jungle--don't try to double stack because booboo will get pwned quickly. On Legionnaire, the key is to pick up level 2 charge then you just charge every neutral creep and pwn them.
You need to stack creeps if you want to be a better jungler as legionnaire. Get 2x shield + runes. Stack creeps when possible (avoid minotaurs and catmans unless they are triple stack with easier creeps). Level up your E passive, followed by 1 or 2 points into your W skill to help you jungle. Rush lifetube first.

Just downloaded and will be firing up in a bit. Any advice? I haven't played this type of game before. Similar to Starcraft 2 in any way?

So the CAD poll closed, and the Ctulhuphant came out on top, followed by the stupid Arachnoshark, then Durandal.
So...rejoice, I guess? We dodged the shark. I find the Ctulhuphant equally silly though, but still cooler than the shark.
In the best of worlds, S2 will go with Durandal.

Especially you guys screaming DOTA2! DOTA2! over 1 design. We have silly designs or alts already, it's no big deal at this point.
To be honest I'll miss HoN if Dota2 replaces it, most of the Heroes I've been playing lately are HoN originals. Though I guess there will be loads of heroes I've never seen before in HoN.
Just had a crazy 3v5 game on my Basic account, we had Behemoth, Kraken and Bombadier and were killing most of them with a chain of Ults. Lost in the end though =(

Kraken is pretty fun to play. His passive is a great harass against other melee heroes and does Physical rather than Magic damage. His charge is a good displacement skill (though it doesn't disjoint) and if utilized properly can charge someone into your ult (or away from their teammates). His Torrent has great range (700) and can set up a well-placed ult. He also has above-average base movement speed and scales pretty well.
Drawbacks: like most melee hereos, has a small mana pool, and I think his Strength gain isn't the greatest (so he's not too tanky).
