Some guy posted on the AFC South blog at ESPN with this info on Kubiak and his history with QB's:

It's readily apparent that Sando and Walker didn't put much effort into their thoughts, automatically downgrading the Texans for Leinart being under center. Anybody really looking at the situation would see this...

Gary Kubiak had one year coaching Steve Young. It was the best season of Young's Hall of Fame career. Coincidental, right??? Not so fast. He had 4 seasons with John Elway...when Elways was already in his mid-30s no less. Those 4 seasons were 4 of Elway's top 5 seasons in his 16 year Hall of Fame career.

Want more? Kubiak turned Brian Griese into a winning NFL QB. One only has to compare Jake Plummer's 3 season with Kubiak to the rest of Plummer's career to see what kind of influence Kubiak has on QBs. Plummer's passer ratings under Kubiak were in the mid-80s to in the 90s. Before and after Kubiak, his passer ratings were mid-60s to mid-70s. Hell, Gary Kubiak even had people thinking Sage Rosenfels could be an NFL starter.

So when Sando and Walker just blindly mark the Texans down for losing Schaub, they are just being either stupid or lazy (they can take their pick). Kubiak has done much more with much lesser talents than the top-10 draft pick he's currently working with.

BTW, Ashley Fox has moved her way onto my "Awesome and Ingenious" list.

Some really eye opening stuff. Knew he was a good QB coach/OC and bad head coach but that is some shit I did not know. So I leave with this:

JAC @ CLE - Jacksonville defense is best unit by far of these teams, super low scoring.

BUF @ MIA - Don't believe in Buffalo, Miami's got a little momentum on its side as well.
OAK @ MIN - Might be closer than I expect, but don't see Vikings doing too well after that game vs GB. Granted, Oakland is no GB, but they just looked bad yesterday.
CIN @ BAL - Cincinnati has a winning record, so Baltimore might play well. If this was the Colts, I might pick them >_>
SEA @ STL - Seattle will stop SJax and then the Rams have to rely on Bradford, which is not a recipe for success.
ARI @ SF - Skelton gets a reality check.
TEN @ ATL - Picking based on homefield advantage.
SD @ CHI - San Diego is just bad right now and Chicago is on fire.

This thread is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The posts are extended gutters and the gutters are full of trolls and when the post count goes over 20,000 the entire thread will drown.
