Yeah heard on news this morning that the upper level of the bridge is closed till 8pm today and then again tomorrow from 1am to 11pm.

Also they said around 4-5pm there will be low flying helicopters but that is part of the shoot today.

Wow can't believe its been 6 months.

A friend lives on Roosevelt Island which is right next to the bridge. He went to his rooftop multiple times last night and said he saw them setting up shots around 3am and says now they are shooting something with a bus with the bridge covered in snow.

When The Dark Knight Rises moved its production to New York last month, there was a rumor that the film would shoot at Occupy Wall Street, and though that didn't ultimately happen, actor Matthew Modine (who has a small role in the film) says things came close. "The wisdom of Christopher Nolan and his incredible team was that, while it seemed like a good idea to give [the protestors] an opportunity for work, to give them money, it would send a terrible message," Modine told IndieWire. "At the end of the day, we're making a movie. What's happening down there is more important than that. To co-opt what's happening there and around the country ... we didn't want to trivialize it. It was more important to respect what they're doing than to do anything that could potentially trivialize the political situation downtown." Don't tell that to Occupy Pawnee!
