If they wanted to turn Miz face they screwed it up. Miz started the shoving then did the Skull-Crushing finale to truth.

R-Truth's got the sympy of the Lil Jimmys now.

Actually think the segment did a great job in that respect. Miz and Truth told Cena the truth. That he's completely delusional, the fans turned on Cena, nobody likes him and everyone supports The Rock.

He got mad and got his payback.

Miz vs R-Truth doesn't have to be heel vs face. It can just be two heels.

That's the only thing that makes sense otherwise the awesome truth was freaking amazing and they were the closest we had to the new age outlaws.
 
Cena needs time off. A lot of time off.

Punk is champ right now, he had Ziggler should have had the main event, and that should have been that.

Hell, Awesome Truth should never have been in that feud to begin with. They ought to have won the Tag Titles back at Night of Champions or wherever they had the title match, and should currently still be champs, giving us a hilarious run.

Cena just drains the show at this point, he doesn't even have anything to do with the rest of it, he just sucks all the life out of it before the show ends.
 
One thing i dont understand is why that had to be the ending segment. That could have been in the middle or even in the opening of the show. Punk should have been last he's the champion
 
Here's the thing:

Are we even bitching about The Awesome Truth if CM Punk pipebomb'd this? I think alot of the reaction is that Cena was the one to say it rather then ... anyone else. I bet Truth failed the test, why give him the SCF outside on concrete?

EDIT: Now he has an excuse for missing a month.

No I'd still be annoyed at the utter waste of a potentially great tag team.

If it's true that Truth failed the test then it makes sense. You don't want people wondering what happened to Truth a couple weeks from now, so ending the show with that creates more impact and when he's out for 30 days nobody really thinks twice about it. At least that would seem to be the idea.

Yup, they should've been like unbeatable for a good long time before survivor series.

Kind of a let down.

It's ok, Miz will soon be our head face and cena our head heel.
 
At the very least, this opens it up for another of my fantasies that will never get fulfilled: Heel R-Truth with the WWE title or WHC.

It'd be wonderful.

No, because the story was Cena getting booed out of the fucking building, which is basically ignored by Cena all the time for his stupid "all that matters is the people have a voice IN THE WWE AND THESE FANS CAN ROOT FOR ANYONE THEY WANT AND THATS WHY THIS COMPANY IS GREAT BLARGHHH" cheap pop back patting bullshit once again.

I thought they were starting to go there a little more and planting the seeds for Cena to become more jealous or something but they didn't go through with it, which would have actually been interesting.

Instead, it looks like we're just going to get more of the same old shit - Cena gets booed and completely outclassed by The rock, and Cena tries to keep the tired face act up by trying to get cheap pops by giving The Rock praise for being back, giving the WWE Universe praise for chanting fruity pebbles, giving praise to the match being what Wrestlemania is all about, and more of his tired bullshit over and over again the next several months. Why? So some snot nosed 8 year old wants for their parents to buy him the new color Cena shirt. Great work.
 
Not sure why there seems to be such a build up for Kane coming back starting. I would have thought he was very close to retirement, and he already had his reward push and WHC reign.
 
OK, I saw the Kane vignette. It looks like he's wearing the old glove, but the mask doesn't look like the one that covers the whole face.
 
If it's truly Kane or Taker's last match, then they have to face each other. Anyone else, and it just wouldn't feel right. Besides, who else could it be? HHH again? No one else is available that would be better than Kane.

Silly ending to raw. Cena continues to look like a bitch. I still think its all part of a plan to have cena turn. he has to play it cool now so when he does snap it has a impact.

Also I guess Truth will be gone for 30 days?

pretty sure its a clause in the drug policy that WWE can keep someone on TV for as long as they want after a failed test for story purposes so I guess truth failed the same test as Borne and is only getting suspended now since he was involved in a PPV main event match.




Also wasn't Punk Vs Rio advertised for TLC? if they are having the rematch next week I hope this doesn't mean Cena will be back in the title hunt.

Now you're talking, funky. I can get behind this idea.

Though, to be honest, I like my fantasy booking idea better as we get Foley/Taker No DQ for one final match for both men.

Short version of it: Taker returns, we get something a la Crow Sting where he's scoping out possible opponents to see if any are up to snuff. Randomly appears during matches for several wrestlers. Mystery ensues and we don't hear anything much from taker for a while. Cuts a promo after the Feb. PPV saying something like he's searched the WWE but no one is worthy enough to face the Undertaker at WM or something like this. Cue Foley, who cuts the promo of his life calling out Taker (think Edge feud levels of intensity) and eventually we get Foley vs. Taker in one final battle.

The short version makes this sound a whole lot worse of an idea than it is in my head but two months with two shows a week is plenty of time to do this. [/fantasy booking]

I watched all of Punk's opening promo. I watched all of his match with Ziggler (which was great).

The rest of RAW I watched on 4x speed on the DVR.

Did I skip over Brodus Clay and Jonah Hill, or were they no-shows?

Jonah came in during the ziggler match and did the Jonah Driver to Alberto Del Rio.

Admit that sports entertainer and wwe universe are stupid terms. Still use them.
