THE NUMBERS MASON, WHAT DO THEY MEAN?

It's a map with several points in the US highlighted, with the date of the 13th of December (10PM) on them. There's a box at the bottom asking for coordinates, which I've got a hunch is related to the website with the numbers being read out.

Don't have a huge knowledge of maps, but although numbers are fine for grid refs, for a world map surely you'd need more than numbers?
