It's terrible, but Gail Simone seems practically worshipped hereabouts for reasons I can't fathom.
I'm reading her Wonder Woman run and that's been fun thus far. This, on the other hand...Ewww
Was thinking about giving Batgirl another try, thanks for posting this. I miss Bryan Q Millers Batgirl so much.

I like this quite a bit. I love Bachalo, but his panals are so cluttered and close-up, you can barely get a sense of your surrounding, plus there's action all over the place. This issue seems like a nice break, settling in to the school, and you get a better sense of home from the school.
You actually genuinely think Gail Simone's writing successfully emulates the way actual real living human beings talk.
Please tell me you are being sarcastic. You don't even have to say anything. Just bust out a fucking sarcmark if you don't feel like typing words that say the exact opposite of what you just said. Just please do something about it.

However, what I said about this preview being the worst thing I have read all year remains a genuine assessment of my feelings, so when confronted with a sentence such as "it helps comic readers understand girls.", I feel I have to ask its author to elaborate, or as is my belief, to make clear that he is using sarcasm, either through the use of a sarcmark (registered trademark) or with other means, like associating it with another, even crazier claim, such as "it helps comic readers understand girls, and also I think Hitler was right". I do believe this is in the interest of an healthier debate.

I love the Kid Phoenix outfit!
Finally read through Black Mirror. Wow, it was pretty great! I thought the art was a mixed bag, but it fit the tone of the story. I really had no expectations (except everyone saying that it was a great story for Dick as Batman), and I'm really glad I picked it up. Thanks, Comic GAF!

I really hate the Gordon Barbra Gordon thing. At least call her GBG as a nickname or something. I can't see anyone sticking with such a long name as a joke.

I enjoyed the heck out of the episodes of "The Batman" that I've seen, but my nostalgic memories of TAS are very strong. Can I put Brave and Bold above both though? That is a damn good cartoon!

I guess we're going to start seeing cuts from DC in a few months (and we've already been seeing cuts from Marvel, for better or worse. :/ )
What's the threshold for books being cancelled or revamped at DC? 20k?
It's been traditionally lower than Marvel's. No idea how it is now. But yeah many won't survive the first year it seems.
