Never heard of Shank till just now. Shank, Cave Story, and Jamestown (even if I'm not sold on the hype) equals purchase.

EDIT: For reference, when beating the average, is it the average at time of purchase? Or do they hold off until it closes before awarding "beat the average" bonus games?

it's average at time of purchase, and all purchases before the 'beat the average' gets the bonus games

Wow, that's a killer humble bundle right there. Definitely jumping on that. If I have some of the games in the bundle already do I get giftable copies, though? Has that been the case for previous bundles?

Humble Bundles have had one key for all the games. And I'm pretty sure you don't get giftable copies of games you already own.

Calling it (yet again): Big Picture Mode will launch with official split-screen support for Valve's PC catalogue (perhaps excluding MP titles).

Also, HL3 announcement in March, much to the chagrin of Nirolak. ;)

With a challenge from of a number of indie bundle clones, Humble Indie Bundle steps the fuck up and delivers.

I'm genuinely surprised that Shank is going to be in there. I wonder if EA still has anything to do with it or if the rights have reverted back to the developer, or something.
 
Was GSB part of a bundle before? I have it, but can't remember buying it. Don't think I would have bought it on its own.

What about Nightsky, has that been in a bundle?

I think Gratuitous Space Battles was part of a Steam bundle at some point, I think.

Nightsky was in an Indie Royale bundle.

I wonder if the Humble Bundle will coincide with Nightsky's HD version that's coming out.

I mean... Fuck! If you don't already have this games, shame on you. And if you even think about not getting this bundle if you don't have this games already, you should be rounded up and sent away to a faraway land...

Wow, what news to wake up to. I'm not really feeling the IndieRoyale X-mas bundle...but holy OMG at the Humble Bundle. Take my money already.

I will pass on Jamestown, Super Meat Boy, and Bit Trip Runner, but if Cave Story+ is a big improvement over the original I might consider the bundle. Shank could be cool!

They also had Scoregasm, a similarly not-yet-released-on-Steam game.

Is this the currently-on-Steam version of NightSky or is it the futurely-HD version that I have no idea if it will actually ever be on Steam?

I don't like hard platformers or flashy things. :( I have weird game tastes in that I like easier games. VVVVVV is almost too difficult for me (I don't know if I'll ever take the time to get that shiny I was talking about), and I really don't care for topdown shooters much.

As a side note, I'm curious about Alan Wake but reactions seem very mixed about it. If it's a good port it could still be cool though.

Maybe that magical pony-raising game will go on steam sale this holiday season and you'll all mysteriously end up gifted it.
 
Saints Row 3 is now available to be purchased from the steam in the UK, store, it was not previously available to purchase before but since the DLC has come out you can now get the game on steam.
