One Piece: Awesome chapter, we finally found out a lot of information we've been wondering about since the time skip. I can't believe Akainu is the new Fleet Admiral, I imagine the whole world has been shaken up by this shift in position. If the Marines seemed bad before, I can only imagine what they're like now with Akainu leading the pack with his "Absolute Justice" mindset.

And Blackbeard taking Whitebeard's position in the Yonkou isn't a big surprise. What does surprise me though is the fact that he's "collecting" Devil Fruit powers. The Guru-Guru no mi and Yami Yami no mi together alone is an unstoppable power house, but potentially adding more powers to his repertoire might be a bit overkill (Unless he's sharing those DF's with his crew). I'm still curious to how this is even possible, but I'm afraid by the time Luffy finally shows off with him, Blackbeard might be a fucking Peter Petrelli type super-god.

Still nice info on whats been going on and honestly i'm surprised that many of you were surprised that Aokiji would leave. Remember he was very wary of Akainu when he(Akainu) pulled that horseshit at Ohara, so him not wanting to serve under Akainu's method of justice makes sense

Should be interesting to see what Aokiji is up to though and a possible appearance of Big mama as well (now i wonder if "the island will be destroyed" prediction will actually happen due to her appearance)

When he killed that Zetsu there were pockets of light eminating from the top which suggests he's underground.

This is why. This is not how a human being would look in that very angle. Pay attention to the legs, feet, and everything below Sasuke's head very carefully. Everything is off. Sasuke's right foot makes his leg look smaller than his left leg. From the front in this very position, Sasuke would look like his upper body twisted left in a 90 degree angle which I don't think was the intention of Kishimoto in this color page. Kishi could've hidden some of these flaws with decent shadowing, but shadowing is all over the place and random in this pic (which is especially noticeable cause Kishimoto didn't even draw his ankles right). Not even in Naruto's art style does his anatomy make sense.

So what are your credentials for art? You've taken drawing and anatomy classes I assume?

We got 3, count em 3 panels of Ichigo fighting Ginjou. We didn't even get the "classic yet predictable" Getsuga Tensho. How was that a good fight scene? You guys may think i'm a Bleach hater, but even Bleach's of old (Ichigo vs Grimmjow, vs Ulquiorra, vs Byakuya... hell mini fights like Ichigo vs Renji and Ikkaku) were leap years ahead of that fight. I would think that having Ichigo's powers would let him put up a fight, but cmon -_- even Ichigo vs Gin (2nd) was a ton a better, and it lasted 1 chapter and a half.

Also you're straight up trolling if you think Riruka protecting Ichigo was anything hamfisted garbage. There was no build up, she protected him because of "plot.":

Oh ho ho, finally, pieces of information that I truly give a fuck about. Aokiji and Akainu had a 10 day brawl, holy fuck Oda, there's no way you can't show us that somewhere down the road.

Blackbeard is a Yonkou, well, fuck him. I don't really like Blackbeard as a villain. I like Akainu more as the big bad, but I know that Blackbeard is the ultimate villain. Whatevers, I think that the New World will be something else. Fuck, I wonder if Oda is planning on taking a break before they finally arrive at the first place there.

Big Mama, well, idk what she could do. Guess we'll have to see if she'll have any involvement at all.

What? Uh, okay. Why couldn't the fight scene between Ginjou and Ichigo have been as good as the fight scene between Byakuya and Tsukishima? That shit was really epic and tense, and made sense. This shit was just boring. I'm thinking what Kubo is trying to do is have it so that the conflict between Ginjou and Ichigo is not about the fighting between them, but about the plot.

NOW, whether or not Kubo has failed at this really is dependent on this flashback, and how well it is done. Kubo has a solid track record with flashbacks, so if he goes all out here, this stupid fighting shit will be forgiven and this arc will be turned around. The fact that it involves Tsukishima + Ginjou means I will at least be paying attention to it...as since the beginning I always wanted a flashback/backstory between Tsukishima and Ginjou. So it could be pretty good.

Other than the possibilities, the chapter was just whatever. Tsukishima coming out like that was more "wtf?" than it was intense, but I have a soft spot for Tsukishima in my character grading, so I couldn't help but be like "well damn". The Riruka stuff was stupid...but it at least makes sense.

Yeah Ginjou is basically shit compared to Ichigo. Its just after YEARS of tite kubo nerfing or downplaying Ichigo, I think he should have at least made Ichigo's final confrontation with Ginjou "better."

Agreed. I don't think it was ever supposed to be some big epic confrontation (although the small skirmish was still boring). The confrontation between Ginjou and Ichigo is about the plot, not about the fight. That is actually a refreshing change considering all of Ichigo's other confrontations have been solely motivated by sword swinging. This time, it's different. Whether or not Kubo delivers relies on this flashback, which we have yet to see.

Yea ever since the bait and switch appened in regards to fullbring it was expected (and i wanted it to end quickly) but i honestly wanted to at least see Ginjou actually show why he went through this shit.

I honestly never even thought about it. Having not watched the anime since the end of Impel Down and not rereading the Manga, all I remember is Sengoku stepping down government / marine story wise.

And even if BB goes get ridiculously powerful, wasn't it mentioned he doesn't really know how to control his power or something? Even if he has powerful fruits he may not be able to control them all well. I just hope OP doesn't end up with some super powered DBZ type fight towards the end where one character can do everything.
