We've got the crappiest defence in the NHL, missing two veteren d-men due to injuries no less.

I can't believe Rundblad was the best defenceman in the SEL last year, I'd hate to see the worst one.

Oh well I kind of expected it. When Gonchar/Kuba and Michalek things will improve somewhat.

I really think Crawford is injured. I get that Emery is playing really well lately but up until the last few games he hadn't done any better than Crawford. The 'Hawks also can't bring up Salak without risking losing him on re-entry waivers so that's why I'm assuming they haven't put Crawford on injured reserve.

interesting angle, would make a lot of sense, I mean he was fighting the puck near the end before they gave emery the nod but a few of his "bad" games also included a few of the hawks worst defensive performances.

It's hard to believe that Ottawa has been in the league for twenty years since coming back as expansion team. It's been almost as long since the Sens won a game vs Tim Thomas! (2007)

Heyyyyo!

Danny Paille has made a believer out of me. I used to think of him as a Sabres underachieving cast-off. With him playing on the fourth line and playing so consistently every night, I'm coming around. Just had to adjust the expectation level a little bit. Not to mention how he's handled taking a slapshot to the face and a "concussion" in a couple weeks time. If he didn't earn it in the playoffs last year (he did), this season he's become a player I'm glad the Bruins have.
