D!!!!!

Two points in two matches, that's good.

Another point for Kabby.

edit: FUCK

Bullshit, our goal was refused for obstruction, and this one is not.

Wow... that was cool looking. Loving how spread out the scoring is on this team. Even with the league points leader out we still have a ton of threats. Hey Leafs? Wanna compare /depth? Flyers can get pretty damn deep stretching those boxes.

$2500 fine for McQuaid ? LOL what a joke, he probably has that in his sofa cushions.

As for Pronger being out for the season. Well it's certainly a shame but live by the sword, die by the sword.

I'm really disappointed to hear about the Mcquaid/Foligno incident and no suspension. This is beyond belief!

Sorry to hear about Pronger, Flyers GAF.

Having Michalek back will help to shore up the defense. We better beat Ottawa.

The jump in defensive quality between Michalek and Picard is almost unfathomable.

It's funny because he got slashed in the face.

Sucks because hes not necessarily dirty anymore. Can't recall him doing anything questionable as of late. That and it's just been shitty luck for him.

What's really funny is that people are actually gonna try and distinguish Pronger's injury from all the other ones in the league somehow based on some ridiculous differences in style of play and act like all players don't take on the same risk.

Leafs have more girth which really stretches out the box. Philly has more young boy pencil dick types which while impressive, really won't satisfy an eager box.

They'll be sure to keep that in mind when they're washing their balls in the cup....

Ok Penis you win... I can't keep this shit up.

I wonder how many F-bombs Torts is dropping right now.

If his depiction in 24/7 is accurate, I actually have a lot more respect for him now. He's a passionate, respectful, no-nonsense coach. I would love to sit down with the guy over a beer and talk about leadership techniques. He doesn't seem like the loose cannon the sports shows paint him as.

Or maybe it's just TV playing with my perception.

LOUIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY BOY!

I'm going with this. Torts has always struck me as an arrogant asshole who cares more about himself than his team. He loves to blame shit on his players. 24/7 gave me no reason to think otherwise. They just called it different things like being "honest."

Umm:
Hmm?

Yet no one has actually done this yet? And you agree with it?

I agree with it to the extent that everyone plays with that risk. I think trying to distinguish it is dumb, and I genuinely expect it to happen. Maybe I'll be wrong. I'm sure you'll find you'll be happy to provide counter examples, but guys like Pronger are often just explained away with a "o that's just the way he plays, it should be expected."

I think I get the same impression, but it was jarring to me for some reason watching him in the locker room after a bad period.

Then again, he always seems angry.

Man Cole is so amazing. The other guys need to have him as their example. He never gives up.

Laviolette also seems very professional and driven. He's got a bit of a potty mouth, but he doesn't use it to tear his guys down. He spits fire and inspiration for his guys.

Again, this is based on his depiction in 24/7.

Torts is definitely winning the coaching battle of 24/7. I love fiery, passionate guys.

And I hate to be the guy, but the whole "box stretching" thing has kinda been worn out. We need a new catchphrase, that one's getting tired.

Is Mark Crawford a secret Sens homer?

First he raves about Karlsson calling him the most dynamic d-man in the NHL. Then he posts this tidbit:

Marc Crawford @TsnMarcCrawford

If I'm Paul Holmgren, I trade ASAP for Sergei Gonchar. Give them a young prospect the same age as their developing core players #MaybeSchenn

I ain't complaining, but I it took me by surprise.
